What have you done to your MSP today?

yea get the Belkin Serial to usb cord, its like 30 but its guarenteed to work. I have one and it works very well.

i have the Radioshack USB to Serial, it works too so there's another option for you

Today i loaded my car onto a U-Haul trailer and right now as we speak i am towing it down to The ATL, time to get her running again......sorta!

i ran at the track for the first time on friday... best run was a 14.6... but next time i go im not gonna have a full tank, my subs in the back, or my spare.. so hopfully i can get low 14's...

What was your trap speed? And 60ft?

It's already done wonders for the car. Much more drivable and pulls soooo much smoother.

with your setup i bet you could pull off atleast a 14.1 if you off the line well.

trap speed was 96.63. 60 time is 2.345... my friend said i should be at 2.2 for a good 1/4 mile. i should be able to do better the next time i go. i need motor mounts badly! im thinking of getting the inserts (becuase im low on cash as of right now) from corksport, the front and rears. or maybe the sls side mounts. any suggestions? wheel hop kills... not only the time but my car.

Ive broken 2 sls side mounts..

Also, if you're not missing any shifts or slow shifting when you race then the time isnt going to get any better w/o a better 60'.. The 60' plays a major role on your e.t.

"fixed" my positive battery terminal.

for w/e reason at its tightest setting, the terminal could easily slip right off (fun doing 60mph and having your car die).

bent it to fit super snug.

Sspring - a good/decent 60ft should be around 2-2.2. better motor mounts will help, but you shouldnt be breaking loose badly. for our car, Id say launch 3.5-4k and slip the clutch. If youre doing mounts, for longevity Id say AWR all the way around. Try to stay with the same durometer - it will ease vibration a bit (even though its still going to be rough @ idle).

That trap speed sounds weird. I ran a 14.9 at 95mph with an injen intake and mbc(that seemd to be causing my car to pull timing)
