What have you done to your MSP today?

External wastegate heh? Cool, what turbo are you gonna use though? Are you having the mani chopped & welded for the external setup?

nope internal. forge is making me a billet one, and u can just pop in the spring instead of using a boost controller since ill be running at a certain boost level all the time. the top of it comes off, its fully serviceable and lifetime warranty. plus its shiny...ohhhhhh shiny

Damn, if you don't mind me asking, how much is that gonna run you? So, no way to use a boost controller? I wanna see some pics when you get it...

u can still use a Boost controller cause those go on the vac line. they retail for 150, its more than the atp ones but lifetime warranty and if it fails i can just open it up and buy a 20.00 part and its good as new. plus they have different spring ranges. 5-10 10-14 and higher. so depending on how the rod is adjusted thats how much boost u get, but u can just spin the rod with vice grips or whatever to adjust preload to get higher in the boost range.

yea im kinda pioneering right now cause i know someone got one that fits but they cant remember so once it fits theyre gonna give it a part number so everyone can order one.

Took off, Hiboost 2.5in Dp and stock cat and newly discovered burnt up 2nd
o2 wires, so I'm running with 1 o2 sensor. Running open Spipe.

I don't understand how it's louder with the Apex 3in catless on , than just open Spipe. Didn't do it for sound though, thought I had an exhaust leak, which I think I did. Car would feel like it was gonna stall when letting of the clutch to drive in 1st and now it doesn't act like it's gonna stall.

Gonna put the Apex 3in on eventually but it seems to actually run harder open s pipe than it did a long time ago when I had the Apex on, but you have to spool up the turbo in order to take off and feel anywhere near fast. I tried everything when I did have the Apex on and it wouldn't run right, ever. And the smell goes out the front so I don't smell any exhaust as opposed to a catless downpipe that extends to the front doors. Very stinky.

I need to install the ATP wastegate and It will run like it used too. I really hate to used to have almost 8psi, and now have dead on 5psi. Car sounds like a Srt-4 at the moment. Still have bad front o2 sensor.(spin)

Oh, your just talking about the actuator. Thought you meant that they were making you a custom internal wastegate. I've seen the Forge WGAs on other cars, they are nice.

No, they must have shipped it separately when you ordered it...can't wait to read the garage-warming gift card from you and Jen. :p

umm just curious if it has a lifetime warranty why would a 20.00 part need to be purchased to fix it? unless ur talking about the boost controller..if so my bad..

lifetime on the body, like if the billet devops a hole, or the nipple falls off etc.

warranty doesnt cover wear parts, like springs or diaphram.

cool, cool. please make sure to keep updates and likes/dislikes
