What have you done to your MSP today?

Are you just going to put a stock motor back in and then build one? Or do you plan on just putting a built on in the first time?

Greased mah bushings over the weekend. Now I've get a loud popping noise over uneven pavement. I intend to re-check the screws when I have some extra time.

Im buying a built block, and get my head port and polished, and hopefully get a 3" tuboback haha. and put my boost to 8-10 I dont know what exactly to use.

Almost done with the Microtech install. Have to make a harness for the injectors' hot wires (basically had to make my own complete harness, I bought it used and the harness was kind of effed up), finish up the CAS wiring, tune it, and put the car back together. Been going really slow on it, had my second child on Oct. 19th, so this has been a really slow going project for me. I only have about 3-4 hours into it, but they have been sporadic at best.

Getting a weird squeak from my front-right suspension area when I go over major bumps like, such as speed bumps or into / exiting my driveway. Any thoughts? Much more pronounced when its cold out.

I need to change the oil and grease my AXR bushings. Its about time...

yea i get that squeak too, im used to it.
i've been driving without the pass seat for the past couple of days. fun

its yellow said replacing sucks... greasing may shut em up, but obviously its a temporary solution.

Yeah, I figured that. I thought it might be the front sway since it sounds exactly like the same noise the rear one made before I got the AXR bracket. I wonder if going through the pain of replacing them is worth it if I can get greaseable bushings to replace the OEM ones with. Grease them when I do the rears (every oil change) and it might help them last longer...

It def sounds like the front swaybar bushings. They are tougher to get at than the rear. To grease them well you have to remove the bushings from the bar... if you're gonna go to all that trouble may as well put new ones in.

Replacing the front is a pain in the ass! the body mold forms from the factory are in the way so it is really a problem. If greasing works great, if not find someone with a lift cause trying to replace using jackstands is dangerous and impossible
