Got my car back today, all motor mounts replaced, and protege garage intake manifold installed

anybody who doesn't have the intake manifold mod, do it now, car feels hell of a lot better

Can I get some description of your impression throughout the rev range? Any low-range torque loss? Differences in mid and top end? What do you mean exactly when you say it "feels hell of a lot better?" Any detailed feedback would be greatly appreciated.

lower range power is a lot better and there is no power loss.

But I still can't imagine any really great gains with this other than a few good points here and there and a few more horses. Hardly worth as much as it would cost for the part & labor. And its DEFINETLY not something I'd want to take on myself. Getting to my mani up front was a pain in the ass as is, but the intake one... I'd sooner shoot myself.

i highly recommend the 626 intake mani. i bought one of the first ones ken sold and have loved it ever since. car pulls alot smoother and alot harder without all the butterfly garbage in the way. Also put one on my g/f's p5 and it drives alot better noticed a huge difference in 5th gear accell
