What have you done to your MSP today?

your also gonna wanna do something about that maf location with the vented bov. nice clean find though! esp in van area.

edit: of course after clicking your build thread, im sure you know that lol

Ordered almost $200 in miscellaneous odds and ends last night. Just all the small things that need some attention.

LED Instrument cluster bulbs.
Electronic boost gauge (in red to match my other gauges for the triple DIN)
Fog light bulbs (have two totally different shades of yellow).
Exhaust manifold studs.
Miscellaneous couplers to "clean up" FMIC setup.
Crankcase breather 'filter'
AN fittings for oil return setup.

Thanks man! Lol, yea I know a thing or two ;)

Forget the brakes and get the turbo. MS6 brakes will make the car heavier and it already stops, doesn't it?

Weather permitting I might be doing a heart transplant between the 2 MSP's so I can have a extra car to drive around on nice days and the MSP that I race will will have a rebuilt motor.

I want another MSP! I want to stumble across a $1,000 one!

They are out there. Just have to look for them. Especially from people that don't want to fix them when they are not running. I kinda want a ES that I can have for a winter car that I wouldn't mind so much about the body on it.

An ES is another thing I've thought about and just "converting" it to an MSP with all my extra parts. But my OEM MSP parts are slowly being sold, so that may not work out well. Other than that, I've seen some MSPs for cheap, but I need one that's at least running. The laser blue in SC that was on CL for $1000, got sold for $300........ It had an engine fire, so definitely wasn't drivable. If I had a garage, I'd be more willing to purchase one that wasn't running, but I don't and can't just bring project cars to my shop and leave them here.

If i had some money to throw down, id graduate the msp from a DD duty, which limits me doing stupid hp mods to it really.. pick up an es or nice p5 and do an electric swap to it.
nothing crazy.. 50-80mile range is all id need with my 12km/daily round trip. I could charge it once or twice/week do do all my driving around and enjoy the msp on weekends ect. leaf is a nice car, i just couldnt see myself owning/driving one.

I wouldnt need the range he build into that.. he had quite a lot of the car used for batteries. Id probably go ac though. more upfront cost, zero maintenance. found a site that sells adapters for the most common electric systems used in conversions and they make an adapter plate and input shaft for the b2200 truck.. which i think is an FS. so i could keep the manual trans and it bolts right up to it. i was impressed he did his conversion and kept it under 3000lbs though. id probably budget 5k for the ac system, 5k for lithium power which would go prob 60 miles.. which is like 100km. plenty for a town cruiser.

oh and if i got an ES, i could make it look like an msp. so bonus there =)

I finally got all the broken exhaust studs pulled from my head and now i think the intake manifold gasket is leaking. oh well at least its something i can fix.
