What have you done to your MSP today?

In this province, doing 25MPH over the speed limit and your car is instantly impounded for a week. plus about 400 dollars in fines. plus your insurance goes up by 320$ for 3 years

it really surprises people form the next province over, where the same offence only a 250$ fine and some demerits.

and in washington state, which is also right next to us, the same offence is only an 82$ fine. lol.

Also, my MSP doesn't clunk or squeek... all you have to do is replace and grease all the swaybar bushings every 6 months (drinks).

I got pulled over for 16 over and had to spend the night in jail.....scariest night of my life to date. All because I forgot to pay a 9 over ticket and apparantly they revoked my dl and didn't inform me. It was my fault for not paying the first one.

to serve and protect? LMAO. when i meet a cop who isn't a total d-bag maybe my opinion will change. but i've still yet to meet a kind, respectful cop. i'm always nice when speaking to them "yes officer", blah blah but always get the prick who acts like he was just butt-*****. i do believe there are nice pigs out there, but thus far i've only seen the 99%

I have a problem with traffic cops... The guys who do nothing except hand out tickets.

Sure, if they gave you a ticket without reason, but if you break the law, how can you get upset at them? That's their job.

Guess I'm just different. I've never been mad at a single cop that has given me a ticket because you know what, it was MY fault for breaking the law, they're just doing their job.

Considering these cops have probably seen enough dead bodies as a result of speeding I guess you'll just have to forgive them for giving an attitude to someone doing that.

Guess thats the difference between child vs adult mindset (dunno)

MOST cops are complete dickheads. However with that said their is a reason why stearo types.... but thats not to say everyone falls into that. I've been pulled over by a cop and not given abreak but actually sat and shot the shti with him..... Then those that give you a ticket for a out tag light when only 1 otu of two being out and going to slow in the middle of the night at 1am for impeeding traffic when its just you and him on the highway... and you being in the slow lane.

Do I get upset that im gettign pulled over of course but not at the cop but just because its money i dont have. Do I mean to speed nto all the time but some times I just don't realise it. Crap happens. I've been pulled over for doing 17 over and was given a verbal warning.. I think this was because the cop didn't have to chase me down. All he had to do was move his car 200 feet to get upto me.

Only ticket I have received thus far (knock on wood) was in my last car. A black Sentra Spec V and the cop was actually pretty nice to me. I was doing about 60 in a 40 I think but honestly I was just cruising along and didn't remember it changed. He just gave me the fine and no points so I said okay and went on my way.

Now a couple months ago I was cruising around Hershey and saw some guy riding my ass, so I sped up and got in the right lane to let him go around. He pulled up next to me at a light and guess what.. it was a state cop. He accused me of going 70 in a 50, but I don't ever remember going past 60 and I think he's full of s*** because he didn't pull me over. He started yelling like an asshole and I just kind of stared at him until he was done. Then the light turned green and he took off, still pulling away from me when I got up to 55 mph. Yep, no lights or sirens, so where the **** is he going in such a hurry? **** you asshole.

I don't think all cops are bad, but there are definitely some out there that get their jolly's up with that s***.

I'm not bitching about getting a ticket for doing 101 in a 60. That's fine with me because I get it away with it ALL the time and I completely deserve it. The guy started bitching at me for my radar detector... I don't have a radar detector. He also told me to "get a car that doesn't have so much horsepower". L-O-*******-L! Then told me about his brother who died at 32 years old and now his 6 kids don't have a dad and the mom is struggling to get by. Sorry, don't become a baby factory if you're working at Walmart.

Aaaaand as was mentioned before, this dude was a good 75lb. overweight.

There is a slight difference between running from the pilice, and evading. My whole family is highway patrol in AZ and they suggested to evade most of the time and no one gets in trouble... Ie, you are speeding.northbound on an.interstate they are driving southbound shooting radar, when you see them just speed up a little and get off on the next exit. The amount of time it takes them to stop turn around than speed back up, no way they catch you unless you want them too...

I've done that quite a few times. I'll get off, ninja behind a business and wait until I see them pass. Then take an alternate route to my destination.

lol same here. done it plenty of times. just haul ass before he turns around and dip out on a few streets and post up for a bit :) no tickett

LOL. I got a 109 in a 65 once... my first ticket.

110+ in a 65 for my first ticket, apparently ohio state troopers' gun's only go to 110 and have a little light next to the mph if it's over 110. Also my first ticket, and my driving privileges for 7 months

I just saw your sig... That's ******' hilarious.

Ok, I think we can all move on from the speeding/cop talk now. Time to return to our regularly scheduled program.

Make sure not to modify the living arrangement, or you're going to being modifying your bank account. $701/month in child support here.

ouch. That shouldn't be a problem though, she let me keep my msp, all it's mods and get a p5. Now I just need some warm weather and my new job to start so I have weekends off again to get the msp running.

Oh and today I went to get the car aligned since I replaced all my strut mounts, turns out I did really good and it was spot on. I like not spending money.
