yeah how about Georgia. Low 30s last week and mid seventies since Saturday. Which worked out nicely for the mani install.

Dyno is this weekend, Friday for this mani and Saturday for the Tubular. The picture doesn't do it jsutice, looks killer in person. The car feels great, but we'll see whats going on this weekend.

oh i know. its just my opinion. i hope it works out well.

that head flange is a hell of a lot nicer though lol.

it is amazingly better. I couldn't believe the difference in that alone. It just felt so solid against the head.

im sure leen has more qc than thunder, especially since its all cnc. im still happy with my thunder, but im still glad theirs other choices (quality ones that will actually be produced and delivered lol) since our platform is dated.

so i just did some damage control (pics to follow), water will certainly bust through aluminum if its contained and frozen. lol.

time for a new heat exchanger. doh.

it was one of those bad days where everything goes wrong. the car i usually drive to work (02 bug), battery died. and i didnt have another car to take cept the msp. mind u i work in south columbus, not a good area for a modified msp, or even a non modified one. and of course its been garaged so i didnt do any winterizing. of course it snowed that day so i was sliding everywhere. i also forgot my keys to open the store cause i dont ever drive the msp to work. yay. so we open 2 hrs late and i go to move my car and i hear this rediculous whining coming from the front end. im like WTF. so then it hits me i still have water in my liquid to air IC and it froze. not good.

i shut the pump (thats what was whining), but it sure did blow a giant hole in my heat exhanger. just glad it was that and not the ic. ic is 500.00

incase anyones wondering why i had water.. i use ice in the hot months, and when u add ice it raises the level of liquid and since its not economic to just dump coolant when i need to lower the level i was using water since water removes heat alot better than coolant alone, and i can just dump it out in the lawn. ill make sure i switch to coolant in october from now on since i wont be needing ice lol

live and learn.

you know I was wondering about that with you earlier I just didn't say anything, meant to ask about it in the cold weather.

New Trans

Towed my car to dealership on the 6th for crushed LSD. They were trying to convince me it was a clutch issue and telling me it was going to cost me 1100 to fix it, because it's not a warrantied part. They called today to tell me something in the trans blew up and they going to replace the entire trans. Feels good to own a dealership for 3K$ min in parts alone. Sucks because they are out of loaner cars.

Lol, they both could.. Its not for an msp though.. Its my friends new turbo for his Evo.. Hes comparing the stock 16g to the HTA 35r..

that 16g wouldnt be a horrible match to the msp especially a built msp the 35r though is huge amounts of overkill though lol
