What have you done to your MSP today?

the strut forms a triangle with the hinge in the up position, and the strut is relaxed, and in the down position, its basically a strait line. I don't see how it could for one, as all the forces would act on the hinge. beside that, I don't think carbon fiber is a material that is willing to warp after it is cured, so even if the forces were present to do such a thing, I don't think it would.

Took my motor off the motor stand, put it on a tire to install flywheel/clutch/trans, but ran into the issue of aligning the cluch... cant find the tool :( so going to pick one up tomorrow. And Motor is going in this weekend, same with everything else besides the turbo mani/turbo/downpipe due to not having the downpipe yet :(

Rear caliper, rear rotors, and rear pads will be replaced tomorrow morning. Thanks to justagirl@mazmart for the caliper and Tri-Point for the rotors and pads :)

^This is why I don't have hood props... I've never gotten a clear answer on whether this is true, or if it's all hear-say BS.

YES, i had mine on forever and thought my hood was just bad and fit bad, took them off and the hood fits perfect, so im not using those again
and i took out my stock hood support.....so now i dont have s*** to hold my hood up lol

edit: you can actually sort of see in my sig how the hood is bulging up, it doesnt fit like that anymore

changed my oil. later today I'm taking it to a performance shop to see if they can help me solve this boost leak and turkey issue.

gonna have some stuff FS real soon: ichiba 10mm spacers, injen cai, oem msp tails. keep an eye out

Got good MPGs on a 2200 mile trip. Saw 34 on two tanks and averaged over 30 over six tanks in total.

I just did a road-trip for a wedding this weekend. I just dipped below half a tank on the gauge, and am at 260 on the trip meter... I'm looking forward to seeing the MPG on this one.

And in other news, cruised with a VA tagged Titanium MSP (cute chick driver who refused to look at me as I'm giving her thumbs up for the car) on the way back from the wedding, saw a titanium MSM, and saw a Blazin Yellow Protege with a BC2 kit on it (among other things) when leaving PA. It was like the day to see interesting Mazdas...

lol you got rejected.

I just did a road trip from Norfolk, VA to Rochester, NY (560 miles each way) and averaged 33 MPG! Not bad at all if I do say so myself.
