I'm starting to get this too. I know torque steer on this car, and this is more than just torque steer. Or, it is just torque steer but something is making it get incrementally worse. I inspected my mounts too, but couldn't see any obvious shredding. Please let me know what you figure out.

I think it's my driver's side strut is gone. the wheel gap is only 1/2" there and 1" every where else. Haven't had a chance to look under the car yet...I have it narrowed done to that or the lsd finnally starting to give (which i hope not cause that's way more exspensive)

ha msp is back in my possession!.. new headgasket, they put denso oem quality spark plugs, new timing belt/tensioner, they tapped out the 2 bolts that were broken from the exhaust mani that are the last 2 close to the belts, new coolant, they put royal purple oil in the car... ah! so nice...! car stayed a steady 9psi they told me when they test drove it. all thats needed is a nice scrub down!.

Nice man thats awesome, I hope the bill wasnt too high and at least it wasnt the motor that was bad.

THinking about going with coilovers...for the price of illumina's i'm pretty much there. I could always do the cheap route and just replace the one blown strut for almost 1/10 of the price

Lol, looks 100% better. It still says Mazdaspeed on the side-skirts close to the rear wheels, but I kinda like it. Looks factory. I may remove them, I'll have to let you see it and see what you think.

I was lucky with my car, it only had one sticker and it was easy to remove. On the other hand the previous owner drilled holes in the dash and b pillars to mount stupid ricer neons inside the car, those were the first things to go.

The cars interior is almost perfect, and other than having a boost gauge and pod on the A-Pillar, aftermarket Kenwood Receiver and no leather on the stock shift knob, it's all stock, no holes, no wear, no stupid neons. Very well maintained.
