What have you done to your MSP today?

does it really brakes better?

The idea behind ss braided brake lines is to prevent the ballooning of the line under extreme braking conditions, and get the juice more efficiently to the wheels, for safer (maximum) stopping power. For daily normal driving they won't do too much except look good, if anybody is peaking around all kinds of tight angles of the car, but under race conditions, they are helpful. At an autox I have seen a rubber line that look like it had a tumor growing off it that was a bad spot in the line where the line was ballooning. That wasn't on one of our cars though. I have seen ss lines on our cars fall apart though, think they were cs but I can't be for sure, it was awhile ago.

Here is a little more info I looked up on them:
Stainless steel brake lines improve pedal feel and reduce the amount of time between applied pedal pressure and actual deceleration by preventing expansion, which stock rubber flex lines allow. This provides a quicker pedal response, and allows the driver to maintain consistent brake pressure and precision brake modulation

I have a set sitting in my garage that i one in a raffle... I flushed my brakes not too long ago so they'll probably sit for a while...

got it tinted last week (all around) installed an injen cai that i found on the forums, and broke the nipple on the hot pipe when installing the cai. anyone else had a problem with the stock bpv hose being tight and pressing against the intake??

if you dont wanna mess with the solder i suggest trying heat shrink crimp connectors to seal any moisture or anything else you might get in there
I'm gonna give that a shot, along with a ton of electrical tape .. It's been raining for the last three days, and I'm not sure if that's what's triggering the ABS light, or if it's the poor connection since the wires aren't soldered.

Guess I'll find out once the weather dries out, but yep, heat shrink wrap is my friend! It's what I used on my HID kit, and they've been perfect.

today i spun all around town on the way to and from work. ive missed driving in the rain(drive) i sure as hell havent missed rainy day traffic though.

egt gauge finnally finished and working.
GM syncromesh put in.
Randomly ran 9psi tonight out of no where, its been about 6-7 since i owned the car. Guess the real cool mid 50 degree weather had something to do with it, but there have been other cool nights since i owned the car and it didnt do 9lbs. i wasnt even full throttle.

I analyzed the scratches on my car that the body shop obviously forgot to fix.. I also found a paint chip.. lol
