M10 x 1.25; its the same on all manual tranny proteges (except the MP3, which is M8 x 1.25)

Discovered that my driver side hi beam is completly dead and low beam only supplies 4 volts.
Fuse is toast but wouldn't that give
me no volts at the harness?

Really? Wonder why the MP3 would be different... I have a pool ball shifter in the mail and that means I'm gonna have to re tap it, lol. Unless he Mark knows about this already. He didn't mention it tho, hmm...

I know this was the case in '01... not sure about the '02 MP3.

It's been a long time since I took my wheels off, but do the factory lugnuts have an acorn or tapered seat? You want to make sure they match the wheels, whichever it is.

The answer to your question is yes. Yes, the stockers are "acorns" but that refers to the shape of the part you see, not the seat. And yes, the stock lugs have a tapered seat, but most newer tuner lugnuts have what they call a "bulge" seat, which have a steeper taper. They will work, but may damage the seat of the lugnut or the edge of the wheel hole, depending on which is the softer metal. If you use bulge-type lugnuts on a stock rim be sure to re-torque them after the first 50-100 miles and about 0nce a week after that until its clear that they aren't loosening at all anymore. Torque spec is 80-90 ft lbs.

They sold them well into '02 but I don't know if they were '02s or leftover '01s
01 was the only year of the MP3, much like 03 was the only year of the MSP.

Also, I don't think the MP3 had a different shifter diameter... so far as I'm aware, all the protege shifters/knobs are swappable.

completely false. A bulge seat is a different design used by select hondas...
