What have you done to your MSP today?

lower the b ack seat and there are 2 or three bolts back on the top part that the latch points for the seats, gotta take those out.

Speaking of which. How do I get to the sub to soder the wires?

pop out the grill, 8 screws on the sub.. pretty basic.

there is one bolt behind both rear upper strut mounts. its a pain to get to, but you CAN leave it in as the brackets are in 2 pieces. I left mine in until I put in the strut bar.

if you just remove all the bolts you can get to in the trunk (2 hold the bracket near the seatback on each side, and then theres 1 bolt on each side that holds the 2 parts of the bracket together) and it should come out just fine.

Dropped mine off at the shop this morning to get the bolt replaced in the EM and the front swaybar bushings replaced. Feels good to finally be caught up with the maintenance on the car.

I haven't looked but are the fronts (bushings) that hard to get to? i know mine need replaced soon

Yeah... I crawled under to take a look and see what the fuss was all about. I got out and said eff that. I can't stand the squeaking or knowing that something isn't 'right' with the car, so I'm just paying to have it done correctly. There's a good race shop about 5 miles down the road who are doing it. Wish someone would make a greasable bushing replacement for it though, would make upkeep SOOOO much easier...

the bushings are hard to get to? if you jack the car up and take the wheel off there like right there
you can just reach in through the wheel well to get to them

Touching them isn't the issue, its getting tools in there to get the bolts off, prying the bushing/bracket off the swaybar, and then magically getting it back on again. I'd MUCH rather pay someone rather than go through that headache.

Plus if something goes wrong, I always have someone else to blame...

i doubt its too different, since the racing beat fits on a p5
but yea i havent tried getting them off so that may be a bit hard, it LOOKS easy though lol
