ms3 fillup (at time of idiot light popping on) is 13 gallons times $4 as of right now

ford focus has a 9 gallon tank, assuming the light pops on with one gallon remaining thats 8 gallon fillup times $3.50. hence $50 for ms3 fillup and $30 for the focus

You'll fake yourself out looking at $/fillup.

Just look at $/year or $/mile from EPA numbers and extrapolate to how many miles you drive.

Changed oil and drained OCC. Looks like oil was spilling from catch can...ugh. Catch can didnt have much in it to drain. Undertray was filthy with oil about where the bottom of the can sits. Friends did my last oil change and it must have been then that something messed up. Fkn sucks changing oil with the crappy oem jack we have. Had the car sitting on two jack stands and jack, didnt want to take any chances. My brothers friend has my bar for the floor jack I have.

Cleaned my map sensor. Need to remove the manifold and clean the runners as well as a coolant flush.

Ran into a Wrx hatchback style last night. I did not get to chat with the guy to see if there were any mods. It did look like a 2010 or newer, I dont know too much about them though, and all I saw was that it said Wrx and not Sti. Needless to say the Speed3 was too much for him.

Had a similar encounter with the same generation STI hatch a couple months ago. The kid was 18 at maximum. Pulled out of a wealthy neighborhood. It was so gratifying to see him mouthing "holy s***" when i looked behind me as i was pulling away from him. Why the hell would you buy your child an STI when they're that age??

The new wrxs are faster to 60 than the sti due to one less gear change....as of the last time i actually read up on them. theyre like 260 and 315 hp respectively AFAIK

the reason to go sti instead of wrx is i believe the gearbox is stronger. i saw somewhere that the wrx is good for up to like 400hp modded and the sti is like 600hp modded, this is doing nothing but engine mods so it must be the tranny parts holding them back
