What have you done to your MS3 today?

drove to the dealership to pick up some oil filters. what should i be seeing in my AFR while cruising? WOT? And I noticed my fuel pressure stays withing 1600-1700 while hauling ass. DO i still need internals?

AFR when cruising should be 14.7:1 +/- .3-.5. WOT should be 12.5 - 11... whatever? Mine tapers down. As long as it's above 1600 or so you're OK but pump internals are never a bad idea, especially for mods in the future.

Finally after 2 years, my shift knob is centered!!

Geta TWM... then it'll always be centered.

Ugh, I was never able to get my 6 speed engraving aligned properly. If I get another TWM, or any other universal knob, it's going to have nothing on the top.

I have a James Barone 6 speed heavy shift knob but the center piece that has the gears on it moves around by itself. Before I realized it was the little center piece I thought the whole knob had come loose, needless to say it is very annoying.

been off the forum for a few weeks, going through divorce :(

Anyways, finally got the car clean after getting the freshly powdercoated wheels put on.

Car looks awesome. The wheels are light grey and they were previously silver?

My 2009 Ms3 just started making a noise that I can only describe as "metal singing". It's fairly high-pitch but not horribly loud. It seems very much related to wheel speed. Any thoughts on what it might be?

Have a check on your brakes? I've read stories of strange noises and it turned out to be the brake clips/metal brackets that hold in the pads. Something to consider

I wound up checking the brakes... I found a little ball of asphault stuck to the dust shield and rubbing on the brake disc. Pried it out with a screw driver and problem solved. No idea how it could have gotten in there in the first place.

That used to happen to me all the time at the track with my Miata. Hot r-comps would pick up rocks and stuff and it would end up wedged between the shield and sound awful.
