What have you done to your MS3 today?

So the mod bug is itching again. Sure short plate kit and counter weight or jbr kit? WWYD??

I've got the JBR one; great product at a great price. I think he's currently running a 10% off sale for Labor Day too.

No offense to JBR but it looks so plain jane. Im sure its as good if not better than the SURE but I like a little pizazz I guess.

3k yellow? ive been wanting to go back to yellow xenons but ive had such bad luck with ballasts. granted, ive gotten unpopular brands from retail stores, but theyve all crapped out in a matter of months and its always been the passenger side going out first

Took the front pads and rotors off.... Put new rotors on, the new pads should be here today (Hawk HPS).

Driver's side pads after 96,500 miles ;)

Did a nice job on the rotor too:

Yeah the passenger side had about 1 or maybe 2mm more pad material left.

I have no plans to do the rear brakes before I trade it in or sell it.

Took her in for a retune. This time with Cobb TBE installed. Came in the mail last week from edgeautosport.com (outstanding custumer service!) last week and I installed it this past weekend. She made lots of power and sounds really awesome. The install experience was so so. Because Cobb downpipe is not a perfect fit. Somehow I got it in there nice and tight. The product is beautiful with nice welds. Overall I'm happy. Well worth the wait. I'll link a photo down there along the Mod list once Photobucket get their sh** straight lol. Dynapack tune at 19psi 301hp/ 352lbft

Those are some respectable numbers!

Yeah, I'm impressed how much power a performance downpipe can get you. Stock exhaust my car made 264 hp /332 lbft at 18 psi. Could have up the boost but quite honestly I'm not trying to beat nobody and push the turbo close to its limits every time I go WOT. I just want a daily driver that I can beat on everyday to work and have fun. So 19 psi on a K04 seems about right to me. To me at least.

installed my 3k Sonic Tuning HID Fogs last night. looks awesome

Does yours have a green tint to them? I've tried like 2-3 different 3k hid sets for my fogs, and all of them come out with a green hue. I receive numerous compliments on them because it is such a unique color, but I've always wanted that rich yellow color.

Oh yeah and to stay on topic...had the tires removed from my wheels and I am back on the 17" snowflakes.

The materials come in tomorrow, and i will be dropping the wheels off along with the steel center caps to get powder coated. They told me it will take exactly one week, so they should be going back on next weekend. Can't wait :)

Changed the oil and filter. I got the new Hawk HPS pads courtesy of the UPS guy so I finished my brakes with the exception of fresh fluid.

Finally replaced my end link that came unattached and got bent so the front bar will be hooked up for the first time in a while.

Thought about replacing the sway bar bushing but I didn't feel like dealing with that mess. :)

no they are yellow as ****, looking at the light its not that obvious, but the color they throw out is a real deep yellow
