What have you done to your MS3 today?

Factory Warranty follows the VIN. Extended warranties need to be transferred. Those offers for extended are from third parties that have nothing to do with Mazda and they are just generated by when you titled the car from public records.

I put in fresh coolant, which is the messiest nastiest job to do. I was covered in that poison! Also it only took 1 gallon of coolant. I thought this car took about 9 quarts which is 2.25 gallons? I may have screwed up somewhere.

I put on the shifter bushings, which was a very easy job, and it really increased the precision of my shifts.

Finally, I put on my new TRZ Poly RMM. It does what it advertises to do. Shifts are great and I have not missed third gear at all. Also my god it has really allowed the car to apply its power! Exiting a corner it spun the tires in 3rd, mind you the surface was a bit wet. I am not sure about the vibrations though, its very rumbly which I am not a huge fan of. We will see, I will give it a fair shake and see how it breaks in.
I won't remove the badge, because I want 'the curious' to know what car just cleaned their clock!

put undertray back in finally. rec'd Powergrid front end links from New Age motorsports for coilovers. Nice knowledgable fellow Tony. next weekend lower the front end and balance the sway bar.
the wheels might look nice N Y.
sometimes you just dont know till you try.

pfft... you guys are supposed to talk sense into me, not encourage me! doing some math and the rears are going to be tight. 225s are the smallest i'd go on a 9.5" wheel which doesn't leave much room.

yeah, a 9.5 +35 wold be a tight fit back there. The price is oh so tempting though...lol.

with 225s i'd literally have less than 1mm of clearance on the fender. i already have -2.5 camber in the rear and even if i went with 215s i'd only have 5mm of clearance.... not ideal.

I would definitely go for it, if I didn't feel unsure about fitment. What's the use in having them if you can't roll over a pebble. No doubt you'll find something else down the road that you like more.

roll the heck out the rear fenders and get 235s. man up.lol
the front will be fine. if you gotta space out the rears well thats part of the fun.
jump!

Went to Carlisle this weekend for all MOPAR Nationals... and wound up dynoing my car. lol

Made 241whp 253wtq... sort of disappointed, was hoping for more. Was almost 90 and they weren't blowing a fan on my intercooler. Which may partially explain why I was running pig rich past 5000 rpm. I was in the 10's for AFR. :ugh:

Good baseline for almost no mods, though, I guess. Cobb intake, Magnaflow and a Hypertech.

with top mount it is really hard to dyno the car. Unless the airflow "through" intercooler is just right. those are very decent whp #s sir, even more so at that no fan business. that is almost dangerous.
after one run you are heat soaked.
Believe me you have more in the tank than that with a good environment

I know, I put down 228 the second run and I think I may have had pre-ignition at the beginning of the run. It sounded odd... almost like a knock.
