Made revisions to my Cobb map. Need to lower the load more. Damn this heat and KR. Looks like only 16 psi is safe here in vegas

Oil change, tire rotation, seafoam (half in vac line, half in gas tank), general inspection of things. Noticed the bushings for the rear sway bar....either they are seperate pieces or they are cracked, ill have to look them up in the factory manual
I also got my hypertech and loaded it last night. Ill also be posting my full impression in the other thread discussion just for the HT. But for now ill just say its F'ing awesome and I love it

Actually, they can't necessarily round up. Take, for example, the Mustang. For a very long time, it could not claim 5.0. Since it is 4,949 ccs, it had to accept the 4.9 label. Now that it's over 4,950 ccs, it qualifies for the 5.0 Liter tag.

Jeez. No, the 4,949 had to round down to 4.9
What I think Mike is saying is that Ford round to the nearest 1/10th liter, which isn't necessarily rounding up.

Well, one the engine reaches proper opperating temp hasn't it expanded enough to be a higher volume than it was when cold anyway?
The bushings are one piece. Supposed to be a U shape that wraps under the bar. It does have a slit to slip the bar through but it is closed after you put it on the bar.

I don't know if it's some sort of requirement, or the makers just have an informal agreement, but 4,949cc displacement can't be called a 5 liter engine. Ford called it "5.0" as more marketing than a displacement claim. The new 5L has a legit claim to the label. I can't find the reference right away, but I think it's 4,994cc.
The "break point" is 50cc; 50 and over they can round up, under 50 and they round down.

Laaaame. It's heavier I'm sure, and I don't think it would fit well. Just build the motor. All said and done it's not horribly expensive.

Oh come on now. That's no where near as blasphemous as an LS in an RX-7, or a ford V8 in a miata
And I feel the weight might be marginal. I can't say for sure cuz I haven't looked it up, but you've got all these components with a turbo 4cyl against an NA V6. Even the V8 used for the monster miatas are only like 100 lbs more than the stock 4 cyl
