I'm sadistic. I got up at 6:30 am to wash and wax the car for the College Park meet.

I get up at 5:xx am to wash my car every week. And spend like around 2 to 3 hours giving it a good clean. It's the best time of the day. No sun and cool weather.

leds before and after

I copied/pasted this from the other thread where I promised to have before/after pics of things I install. Up first, is the leds from superbrightleds.

Overall, the LEDs feel dimmer, because the white color seems cooler. However the camera shows more clarity with the cool led light. Also the colors of items are much closer to daylight lit rather than yellow lit. Exposure is the same with the before/after pics to better compare brightness, though I didn't get the framing exactly on some pics.

First set: Mix of old bulb/new led on map lights: (7440 W6)

Second set: Old bulb and new led on dome light:

Reverse lights: The white color is definitely better looking, but still it's dimmer in light area. Mix/old/new:

I used to have a Chevy truck I did that on. It got at least rinsed off and wiped down EVERY morning, 'cept if it was really cold outside.

Painted front and rear badges red and removed mazdaspeed badge. In the future removing back and getting the holes filled in.

i think i have ocd so prob more then it should be, was like 4ish for each can, and i got 2 red cans, 1 clearcoat and 1 primer. Was lucky to pick up the red from home depot and was an awesome match.
