What have you done to your MS3 today?

I switch to Redline MT-90 hoping to get rid of hard cold morning 2nd gear shifts but the change did not help. How does the Ford fluid do on cold mornings?

I use the same trans fluid and no, it doesn't help. In fact, the synth made it a little worse. once it's warm though, it's great.

installed TWM's shifter bushings this AM. I don't do many installs on my own because I'm an amateur but this one was pretty easy. I usually break plastic clips and stuff when doing interior work but I was surprised how easy it was. Wouldn't have taken me much time but I missed placed the new bushings!

TWM great instructions too. I had one bushings the bushing behind 2nd gear that actually plastically deformed. There is a slight alignment issue I found with the holes of the shifter plate and the threaded holes in the floor of the car possibly that is why.

Sorry Sport I couldn't wait!!!!

They are a PITA to install... LOL. Well worth it though... went through a TON of mud and standing water today and they kept almost all of the spray off the car.

Let's see.. what did I do today.

- Painted emblems graphite
- Removed Mazdaspeed emblem
- Install Rally Armor mudflaps
- Removed door moldings
- Smoked my reflectors

thats probably the ONLY time Ive ever thought a speed3 looked better with the side moldings off. Otherwise they look better on, but on that white one above they look nice when removed.

agreed. i dont like the side moldings taken off.

mine are staying on

nice lookin' CWP laraw, I like your emblems. They look much better than chrome and contrast better than black. May steal your ideaz.

P.S. - how slow did you have to go in that mud to keep your car clean? rofl

I actually wasn't going slow at all... the mudflaps worked flawlessly. I had a few spots that were easily wiped off and that's it. I was shocked at how well they worked.

laraw your MS3 is like ridiculously good looking. I've always been a sucker for the CWPs. What wheels are those by the way, some of the best I've seen on an MS3. Very tastefull.
