Quick question...I am not a Speed3 guy so I have no idea, but the junkyard just got a stripped down 08 Speed3 in and has the factory turbo...great condition...only 20,000 miles...wanting $300 for it...

Just wondering if it is worth it to buy/sell...

Had the 30K service performed today as well as a change of the coolant and the transaxle oil.

I really need to get documents outlining what those service intervals cover. I change my oil every 3K (stfu) and will change the tranny fluid every 30K, but I've yet to check any other fluids in the car (3700 miles on the clock).

I really need to get documents outlining what those service intervals cover. I change my oil every 3K (stfu) and will change the tranny fluid every 30K, but I've yet to check any other fluids in the car (3700 miles on the clock).

My dealer gives me free oil changes(I supply the Mobil 1), so I let them handle all the maintenance. They don't tack on a lot of unneccessary charges but they do recommend the coolant and transaxle services at 30K- and I agree. I do change the brake fluid every six months so I'm always prepared to attend a HPDE on short notice.
I also set up a page for my MS3 on the Mazda USA website. You can access the maintenance schedules and save your maintenance records. Pretty cool.

Thanks for reminding me about that site. I just updated my mileage and added a service record for maintenance I've done. I'll probably follow what they have indicated for other fluids.

I got click happy recently and little parts are piling up. like ventpod, blue lug nuts, blue tinted mirrors and led interior lights, goodridge brake lines and motul fluid, turbosmart manual boost controller, turboxs fuel cut defender, hks ignition. I still need rotors before spring and another set of tires soon after. While the car is put up i can only look at parts and wait.

Snow is pretty but gosh I'm glad it don't snow here like it does up north- I could not stand to have to store my car all winter. I would be having withdrawels. (crazy)

I am not at all pissy about it, I just figured it would be helpful to point out that Mazda does not have a color called 'Cosmic Black'. I, for one, would want to know what the correct color of my car is.

Installed my first mod the other night. Went with a HKS type 0 turbo timer and thanks to the great DIY on this site to help me put it in. It works great and I love the fact that I don't have to wait anymore.

I ended up installing it in 15 temp with snow entering my car the entire time but I was too excited to install it. The first ride into work the next day, the first person I see walking in said "Is your car still on?" Hopefully I won't hear that again for a long time.
