What have you done to your MS3 today?

v1

Got the V1 and concealer display hardwired. Would of washed it but the rain owned me.

On a side note I think one of my favorite quotes from my brother who helped me with the install. "Damn Mazda and its non crappy fit and finish!" Turns out wasn't as easy to conceal some of the cable as in his G35.
Report back on the appropriate thread. nice complement.looking forward.

Bc

BC coilovers installed. Damn, the stock fronts were a b**** to remove. Luckily I had a lift and some power tools at my disposal. Installed the SU mount 2 weeks ago. That's it for now.
Please report on performance and adjustability. Will you track the car?

Yesterday we drove around on some seriously twisty roads and my bro in law did video from the passenger seat my car of me trying to keep up with my Buddys Focus. Maybe we will you tube it. Great fun! The Mazda is such a riot to drive hard.

Adjustability for the fronts are just as easy as any coilovers, height and stiffness. The rears are another story. You'll need the extended tool and cut a hole in your interior pieces to adjust the stiffness in the rear or you'll have to pull the interior parts out everytime you make adjustments, that shouldn't be too hard to do. But to adjust height in the rears, you have to completely take out the rear springs everytime. You can't get to the adjusting rings unless you do so which sucks ass.

Once you get everything back together and lower the car, you have to judge if the height is to your liking. If not, you have to start over again, which I've already done twice and I'm going to do again later because I want to go lower. As far as performance? OMG, these things are awesome! I have all four corners set to the softest setting and the car handles like a champ. It'll only get better if I change the stiffness. I'm leaving the stiffness as it sits for the time being for daily driving purposes.

I'll also be installing every Autoexe chassis part from Corksport sometime soon. I won't be tracking the car so there's no real reason for it, just cool points I guess.

This pic isn't of my car, it belongs to another member. I wasn't fortunate enough to have my camera at the time of my install. But you can see in the pic that the adjusting rings sit low inside the spring perch just out of reach of the adjusting tools. This is the reason you have to take the springs out everytime you make height adjustments.

redline tranny erl and 6 fresh quarts of engine erl. Still waiting on my Standback to return from CP-E (it was busted!)

i added another turbo, lowered it, painted it adding some really sick graphics, changed out the exhaust, redid the interior in Bentley leather, added every performance mod on the market, put on a set of OZ botticelli III wheels, redid the suspension, upgraded the lights. then i had to go to my therapist. something about me being a habitual LIAR!!

TWM Bushings (I installed)
SU MM (Friend installed)
Cobb SRI (I installed)

Bushings - Noticed real improvements when shifting
MM - Straight to the wheels baby (boom05)
SRI - I love the wooosh and I get on it when being followed by GTIs and SIs. They then stop bothering me and leave (weakest). I've also learned to restrain myself from driving fast with the SRI in because when I hear the woosh I left off the gas. I get good miles per gallon now :D

Very nice additions, glad to hear the car is working out and reading your to do list it looks like you have a good plan in place. any consideration for suspension bits? Are you going to track or dyno yet?

I reinstalled my newly fixed standback. (ok, reinstalling means plugging it back in)

swampass is back!

Yeah in the near future, I just need to do more research first before I decide on suspension.

My to do list is just things I have made my mind up on. I'm still picking out tires and rims atm.

on another note - this morning a coworker was pointing out my car to his wife, she says in reply "which one? that black station wagon over there?"

grocery getter FTW
