What have you done to your MS3 today?

Kain are you experiencing any backfires between shifts running VTA?

Not yet, but I only took it around the block. It sounds nice, just a bit loud. I'm thinking of getting a longer recirc hose since the way my CP-E CAI is designed just doesn't allow the stock hose to reach without kinking.

Installed a set of Kumho Ecsta ASX tires 235-40-18 on my RX-8 wheels. Also installed mud flaps. I really like the Kumho's

Can we get some pics of this? Are you lowered? That's the exact tire size I'm thinking of going with at stock height for my RX-8 wheels.

well i finally installed my short shifter, bushings, and new shift knob this weekend (theyve been sitting in my room almost a year). Working on the car in the winter really sucks cuz I want to drive it with the fun new goodies, but weather doesnt always allow it. So far so good this week though, driving with the new shifter is fun and very solid, only thing i dont like is how cold the new knob is when i get in the car in the morning!

which shifter and knob did you get? pix?

twm shifter and bushings, plus their m1 abrams shift knob. No pics just yet, springtime I will be doing more installs and updated pics

hmm...def keep us posted. i was personally looking @ that knob, i really like the spherical type knobs, i just wish that one was heavier. if i remember correctly it might even be a bit lighter than the stock knob...

its pretty similar in weight as far as i can tell, im still not totally in love with the feel of it, but the look of it is pretty cool so for daily driving it seems to do the job just fine.

I bought a CS test pipe, Cobb rear sway bar, and Cobb SRI off a local MS3 part-out. Going to pick them up later tonight.

What do ya think?

it is just taped on for the pic, i have the cp-e tow plate here also but cant decide which way to go, if i had thought of this 2 weeks ago i would never have bought the plate. Since cp-e's fmic is offset to the left, this will block very little air.....

Looks like crap dude. I'd probably like it if it wasn't for that ugly ass Cobb plate frame offsetting that beautiful cpe fmic. Stick with the tow plate, or list it for a good deal lol.

basically the same mods as me. if you haven't installed it you're gonna love it. i think the RSB is definitely the most fun mod

Got the sway and SRI on last night right as it started pouring down rain. Got to play with it a little this morning :D

atleast cobb's fmic isnt offset to make it look like a quick through together someone slapped on.

I farted in the car with the window locks on and 2 passengers, it never gets old, unless it's just me in the car.
Car smells fine now though.

I do that to the little lady all the time. Once it was so bad she started clawing at the window; the other time she jumped out of the car before I finished pulling into a parking spot. It's as funny then as it was the first time.

lol, thats funny man.

went with the plate, it looks better in person and i didnt have to drill anything. Now i'll just wait for it to come loose and scratch my bumper.(doh)

Installed my new HKS shift knob! (thumb)

Then went for a drive and realized what a mistake I made! (notcool)

Stock shift knob FTW!

Got a longer recirc hose from SU, put my HKS SSQV into recirc. Honestly, it's not much quieter than VTA. But me ruv it rong time.
