What have you done to your MS3 today?

Fresh load of motion-lotion (first in a month :D). An Exploder tried to close the door on me getting to the interstate. That didn't work so well (for him).

Did the easiest gauge install I've done to date today:

Got into my car to get fuel lines for my sons integra, and wtf! my windshield is cracked. i can see a little stone chip. but its about 8 inches now.
I have been having a bad run lately. Oh well.

he's using a Aeroforce Scan gauge, does everything that the dashhawk does and then some and much more compact...one reason why I switched...as for the Vent Pod you can get them from RPM store.

Synthethic oil change, summer shoes mounted, state inspection and installed a SURE engine mount. Tried to get shop to install SU Test Pipe, but they wouldn't. Test pipe is going back to SU - bummer. Still waiting on my SURE TMIC. Was told mid-May. I'm liking the SURE rear engine mount. The engine growls and feels / pulls stronger when switching gears.

If you can install the rear engine mount, you can do the test pipe. I think its the best bang-for-the-buck mod.

Just part of the project today. Hope to get that done (and bedded), and oil change, tire rotation, and spark plugs. Although I'm not sure if I will find any store that carries the recommended spark plugs. May just have to bite the bullet and go to mazda and pay $20 per just cuz its a "mazda genuine part"

The shop I took to get the Test Pipe installed poo poo the whole thing. They did the RMM install, but not TP because it replaces the Cat and would not pass state inspection. My MS3 is a daily driver & I did not want to swap part each year just for inspection. Another note, they said the engine light would stay on with TP installed. So, instead I'm researching Hi-Flo Cats as a compromise. CorkSport seems to offer the best at this time. I agree with your bang for buck statement as I was going with new SURE TMIC, SURE RMM & SU TP. I just have a slight change in plan now, but should get some noticible gains.

Took a red sharpie and colored in the OEM white Mazdaspeed 3 lettering on floor mats. The white would never get white and just looked dirty. The red on the floor mats now match the rest of the interior red stitching. Let it dry and hit it with some scotch guard fab protector. Looks sharp! Should have done it a long time ago.

Absolutely false; I've been running a test pipe for over 10K miles with nary a check engine light. The O2 sensor(s) is located BEFORE the midpipe section where the second cat is located. Depending on how your state smog tests, you would have no problem passing yearly emissions check. Here in IL, they hook up to the cars OBD port, no check engine light or fault codes, you pass.
