What have you done to your MS3 today?

haha! you are totally right. just got my car back... -1.5 in the front and -2.5 in the rear. little aggressive but just barely within the factory range.

Ya I adjusted it so it's reverse of that. -2.5 in the front and -1.3 in the back. Not exactly perfect for tire wear but I love how it handles on the track.

finally cleaned off the snow and let her idle for forever to get rid of the first layer of ice. so i moved it a total of 20 ft today come to find out there could be another snow storm coming on tuesdayish

driving the truck again tomorrow. starting to re-love the tacoma. total blasphemy i know but i had that truck for the first 20k miles of it's life before it was given to the wife as her daily and i re-entered the car scene

Shoot... I need to paint my calipers as well. I got -2.7 in the back with the H&Rs installed. How is the ride? Just ordered some ichiba wheels spacers 10mm and 15mm for rear. Hopefully they come in this week.

not yellow,

Are those factory rims on your MS3? They look awesome! They look allot cleaner than the rims that came stock on my 08.5

I think they are Mazdaspeed Miata rims... I dunno but they are definitely Miata rims....17" too I think? They do look awesome!

Great job on the calipers, but why no decal? Would look nice!

Great Job!

cheers! thanks for the comments. caliper paint is duplicolor spray-on. took lots of careful taping. in the end i prefer brush-on, has a nicer finish if you have a steady hand. wheels are from an '08 MX-5 and are 17x7 +55 with 1/4"(6.35mm) spacers all around. tires are michelin pilot HX MXM4, 215/45 that are headed for camber wear as we speak!

As long as you keep your toe settings in check and keep nice, relatively short rotation intervals, -2.5 won't really kill your tires.

cool... yeah, toe is within factory specs. actually, they were able to get all my alignment numbers within spec, it's just the camber that's near the outer limit.

Now, I must caution you that "within factory spec" is not what I said...

The "factory spec" for rear toe provides a range that is so broad that you could EASILY have tire wear issues even if you're within that "factory spec."

You want your toe settings to be VERY close to zero in the rear if you're running -2.5 rear camber.

What are your current rear toe settings?

Put on my HKS intake and Redline Tuning hood lifts!!!(nana)

Does your HKS intake have air straightners in it?

I have one in my garage that I used to run before I blew up my motor and I forgot to check to see if it had them when I removed it and replaced it with a Cobb SRI. I'd check mine but its deep in a box in the rafters along with my CP-E CAI lol.

Installed PG lightened shift weight and that completes my shift linkage. Short shifter, base bushings, shift knob change, and now this. Changing gear feels so much more solid that it did stock. I feel like I'm actually changing gears now!
