What have you done to your MS3 today?

i found some real good leather cleaner/conditioner...weirdest place you'd think to go but i got it at a saddle store...

Dyno sheet as promised - put it in the Dyno sheets section of the All Mazda area here.

Went to the Dyno on Saturday!

1st Run was 261hp/261ft-lb with the hood open.

Hood closed: Definitely helps.

Well, I've put way too many miles on mine(51,000) and it also needs four tires and front brakes. I think I'll leave it in the garage for a few months to avoid plowing any more money into it and maybe see what the used car market does over that time...

Same here. Replaced the stockers with a shiatload of tread left (will go on sale for stupid cheap) with 235/40-18 Kumho Ecsta LX Platinums. So far so good: smooth, comfortable, quiet, and by going wider, I don't feel like I lost any lateral traction taking some spirited corners.

I went and autocrossed in mine (goodyear F1 allseason - 225/40). According to some spectators, they smoke really good when pushed!

I'm looking at the F1 A/S-C, but I've heard that they sometimes get very noisy as they wear. How are yours doing?

they are louder than the stock potenzas. This is my second winter on them, so I've got maybe 3500 miles on them and they show no wear (before last sunday ). I also notice that they are not as smooth riding as the stockers...purely a subjective measure, but it's noticeable. They are good in the wet and snow to about 4-5" and they do grip pretty good considering they're allseasons. That said, I'm not sure I'd automatically buy them again...I'd see what else was available first.

Where did you get your NT-05's?!?!

I bought them a few months ago from an ebay seller who sold me (4) NT-05s in size 235/40R18. He was a tad cheaper than DiscountTireDirect, IIRC...

I used Microsoft (Bing) Cashback @ like ~8%, so it ended up being less than $600 after it was all said and done.

I've used saddle products before, but I figured I'd give Zaino's products a try with this car after all the great things I've read about them. The scent alone of their Z-10 "Leather in a Bottle" conditioner is well worth it. It smells EXACTLY like brand new leather. :) The Z-9 cleaner works quite well also.

Thanks! I've got Pirelli P Zero Nero M+S tires on my MS3 at present. At 25,000 miles they are a bit noisy and due for replacement.

today i made her jealous when i stopped at a redlight next to an aston martin V-8 vantage roadster. don't know what made the guy do it but when the light turned green he gunned it, which i am totally grateful he did cuz it sounded so goddamn sexy

too bad it wasn't the one-77

Made a short shifter bracket, waiting for the ball studs from McMaster Carr to arrive so I can install it (love working at a company that has a machine shop!) Gonna work on installing the power wire for upcoming 10" subwoofer install, trying to find an install kit that isn't way overpriced. Probably wash, clay, wash, and wax the car on Saturday for an epic Mazda Meet on Sunday.

Hmmm... I worked in a saddle shop for 4 years. Lexol was our #1 brand for leather conditioning.

Installed a flex radiator hose today. I recently installed a FMIC and the stock radiator hose was laying up against the cold side intake coupler. I relocated it with this kit off e-bay.
