What have you done to your MP3 today???

Most of the 626 ignition parts are just heavier duty & beefier. Thats why the 626 coil pack conversion is relatively popular.

Is a 626 starter better than the protege one?
Supposedly stronger, but I used it because my starter was no longer capable of turning over my higher compression engine. If yours still works, don't bother.

You wouldn't know the 626 starter is stronger from the outside as it looks IDENTICAL to the Proteg one.

Its a different part number tho, right?

I would imagine so as they aren't the same price at onlinemazdaparts. I got mine from a junkyard with a 3 month warranty. Turned over the first time :)

Replaced the rear right caliper (again) as I had a bad piston seal.
Regreased both rear calipers as part of my semi-annual brake job. Will be doing the fronts tonight.

Bad video quality but good sound, you can hear it really nice

Good stuff MP3 Night I had that same exhaust as my first mod and I loved it. It's a great product for a great price! Congrats.

1. Rotors & pads all around
2. Plugs...noted a lean condition...may explains CELs...doesn't appear to be any intake leaks
3. Completed the removal of NOS (wet system if anyone is interested)...
..a. New air hose due to NOS nozzle modification
..b. Removed T in fuel line...noted that the T that was installed decreased the line diameter by apprx. 1.3mm...wonder if this could cause fuel starvation?...may be reason behind lean condition? idk
..c. Mended fuel line with standard 1/4" hose (found a used line on 24/7...waiting on arrival)
4. Water pump & timing belt
5. O2 sensors

What do you plan on doing with that kit? I'd like to come take a look or see some pics of how that guy had it set up.
