What have you done to your Miata today?

Didn't watch as suggested

I pulled the MS this morning to try some things. With the 90 degree adapter removed I still have no communication. My replacement serial to USB adapter is due here today so I will be able to see if that fixes the problem or not.

I've gotta protect my paint from cones!!!

This weekend, good things are coming.

(also, flares are happening. FLARES. ARE. HAPPENING!!!)

News flash: if you don't hit cones, you don't need to protect your paint.

News flash: the paint on the car is, and has always been crap. I don't care about the paint.

Other News Flash: If you don't hit the cones, how do you know where they are? (rlaugh)

But I feel like you know that.

But I feel like you know that.

By having good spatial perception and knowing the boundaries of your vehicle. What are you, a woman? (nana)

And yes, I do know that. I have killed a few in my occasional bouts of 'crossing.

Well, that certainly took a turn... (boom07)
I know a lot of women that would take issue with that (after beating you and me both around the race track)

I know there are. Just giving you a hard time.

That is sexy.

You gonna leave the painter's tape on there to give some differentiation between the fender and the flare? You know, for people who can't see shapes. (bolt)

That is clearly my plan, yes.

Seriously though, that's there so a) we don't scuff the paint more than necessary constantly mounting / unmounting the flares doing the mock up, and so I have somewhere to dray my line for trimming the fenders back again. I've got the space w/ the flares, no reason not to gain as much clearance as possible from the sharp fender edges.

Have you considered rolling the edge of the fenders back, so you won't have sharp edges to worry about?

So, my rear suspension is very squeaky, looks like control arm bushings are the culprits. Anyone replaced theirs and what should I use ? Good winta project!

For a street car, I'd say replace with a set of stock rubber, or maybe the Mazdaspeed rubber bushings due to the ease of maintenance (ie: they don't need any).

Maybe I'll do the MS ones seeing I'll have my obligatory 2 races in this season!
