Those clear marker lights look really nice! (The car looks nice too)

What the hell is that contraption on the hood? Obviously it's a vacuum mount/pump of some sort but what is attached to it?

Thank ya sir, i tend to agree on the clear lights. Still debating "Night shading" them though, although the tinted is more boy-racer vs just plain ol clear

He said he uses it to line up his tools when he's in the fender. I'm not sure exactly how, but it came out really nice.

i thought it was to reflect light onto the area so he can see when the metal is smooth?

That's what I thought too, but he said no. I dunno... whatever it is and does, it worked.

I need a dent fixed as well could you give me his contact info on sunday.

Thing I did today, I wiped gear oil off the hood of the Miata, the RX-7 decided to "pee" on the Miata.

No problem Marc. When I see him next, I will get business cards and stuff.

Bought a Miata Roadster short shifter and a couple of Spal fans for my new shroud. Hoping they will be at home when I show up next week.

oh and dead battery AGAIN

by removing the headunit, I think i removed the "switched" wire that cycled the amp on and off, so it's always on. . . fail

That might explain my dead battery... My amp wiring got messed with by someone else and now my battery is dead.

Dialed up boost to 12psi, MS shows no appreciable gain in power and I started blowing oil out of the valve cover. Probably going to need to re-ring or replace this engine soon, compression numbers are garbage. x.x

Header flex pipe: replaced.
Header: Re-installed.
Oil: Changed.
Tires for the novice school: procured & swapped onto correct wheels (thanks Korey :))

And after continually hitting my damn head on these things, I finally saved myself a lot of literal headaches. I didn't realize the steel was soft / weak / thin enough for me to just bend in by hand, but it totally was. Problem solved.

hey guys, Finally got some more track time and now i am saving up for more parts. I am going to get a corbeau fx1 pro seat to keep me planted with the assistance of a corbeau 4 point harness, bought from a friend for 25 bucks, wrapped around a harddog bolt-in harness bar that I ordered today.

I like this pic because it shows my bro in his suby, the homie in his mazda 3 and another guy from our local meet.
