What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

Well I know I just bought a set of tires but I'm thinking of changing the whole thing up! Kid5 is the only MS6'er that I've seen with the wheels and I don't mean to copy him but I really like the way they look and think they would look sweet on my car! They just look bad ass and my car is pretty low so I think it would look alright. What do you guys think of:

These wheels (BE GTS-AV, 18x8+35mm)

I'm probably going to do a photochop when I come home from work. I realize I will probably have to roll the fenders but I'd like to run something a bit wider on my MS6 (current tire size in sig). Doing some rough math this will cost me about $1800-$2000. That's not too bad but I legit just bought these tires and they probably only have about 2,000km on them max, so I was thinking I would be able to sell my current tries plus if I wonder how much I could sell my stock rims for?

Opinions?

These wheels are awesome....Just do your self a favor...order one first and make sure you like them before getting all 4, the ones I have are 9.5" wide so they look a little more concave then the 8" will. But these wheels will look Super Hot on a Black Mica slammed car...Cant wait

Yeah I was gunna add how you have the bigger and much wider ones lol. I plan on going to see them somewhere local first in person. I'm gunna do a photochop using your photos to see how they would look when I come home :).

probably this.

Thanks ZoomZoom, I hosed it down a little more than I usually do, I was trying a new method this time. I spritzed everything with all purpose cleaner, let it sit a few minutes, then rinsed (gentle spray, no power jet) and then sprayed everything with "Scrubbing Bubbles" bathroom cleaner, let sit, and rinsed again. I had read a lot of good things about it and figured I'd give it a shot. The engine bay was pretty filthy after a salty winter so it needed the double-clean, but the Scrubbing Bubbles really did a good job without any actual physical scrubbing by me. That double rinse was probably a little bit too much.

Marko, those wheels are really nice and will look great (I still want to see the Photoshop). I would have trouble shelling out $2k after just buying a new set of tires, but that's just my own cheapness issue. :)

Yeah I NEVER use a hose on my engine bay, just a damp sponge or rag. If your going to use a hose, make sure you cover your coils and other electrical elements for sure. Take the coils out and blow them and the spark plug "well" out with compressed air and reinsert.

Got code 2112 today, throttle control actuator stuck closed. Their is a TSB for it, too bad I'm out of warranty. Oh well, 3.7L throttle body here I come.

Totally slacked on the photochop LOL, and I still need to do my spark plugs. Pretty lazy right now... yeah

my rental was originally approved for 10 days, which i belive is up tommorrow... i'd like to see them try and take it back haha

Took a little bit of planning, but...

Took the whole TB off, cleaned it (actually, wasn't that dirty) cleaned all the connectors with electrical cleaner, and no CEL. We'll see if it stays off.

That's not a bad idea. Usually I'm careful to just give a gentle shower, and use very sparingly around electrical areas, but I'm sure I overdid it a little bit this time. If I do get to pull the plugs to blow them out, does anyone remember if that "coil stretch" was determined worthwhile, or was it just a kind of placebo item? I have a set of step-colder ITV22 plugs, but I was going to hold off on installing them since I'm making stock power still.

Notice the hazard lights. Did you pull off the insterstate to snap this shot?

Not the interstate, no, but I was on a moderately busy state route. I was a slave to the odometer! I only had a tenth of a mile to spare!

As I was about to merge back onto the road, one of New Hampshire's Finest pulled up behind me. I rolled down the window and he said I he was just checking that I didn't break down. I told him I was answering a phone call. My girlfriend later told me that I should have shown him the odometer like, "Look at this! Isn't that cool!"
