Put in my new dimmer switch. The gauges dim. But none of the interior botton lights come on. As well as my prosport gauges dont change color when parking lights on. (sadbanana)

well shiat. SOMETHING in your electrical system got fried.
if i remember right, the car runs perfectly, and you checked all fuses?
shouldnt be a grounding issue...

so perhaps actual lines are fried/broken.
At this point it might be worth it to take to an auto electrical expert.
srry to hear the dimmer wasnt the fix man.

Car runs good. The cigerette fuse and the one beside it were blown. After I rewired everything the way it should have been I replaced both fuses. None have blow since. But the lights dont work like they used to. I will have to double check everything on the wiring once more. Headlight level switch works. DSC switch works as well. I dont know what the hell is going on.

Rolled over 50k on my way to school today :/

50k, still running strong. zero mechanical problems. I <3 my mazda :)

^ I remember those days. I had a bad dream last night. I was cruising down a road and looked at my mileage turn to 100,000 and as soon as I hit 100,001 my motor blew. this time next year I will be at 100k.

Put on some new tires and had the front toe zeroed. I really hope these tires improve after they break in, because right how the steering response is appalling... Only driven them for 5 miles though so they'll improve some.

Your crazy. lol.
Had them for about 100 miles or so and have heard nothing but good.

I like the tread on those tires. Now you just need to paint those calipers and clean it up a bit!
yes, painting the calipers is on the short horizon... need to get a torque wrench, lug wrench, and breaker bar to get them damn wheels off.

The wheel wells are a never ending battle. I park in a gravel lot at work, which when it rains makes cement in my wheel wells. I need to get a hose to spray that crap off. What color did you paint yours (I assume you have?)?

unless getting rid of the slight toe-in changed steering response ( went from .26 total toe-in to 0.02 total toe-in) or the techs didn't tighten something, then the tires are the culprit. There is a huge disconnect now between the steering wheel and the car... Its much easier to turn the wheel at highway speeds, but the car takes a little bit to respond. It's handling like a cobalt right now. I really really really hope that things improve when the rubber treatment wears off.

I painted mine Tungsten Grey metallic G2 paint. It was a special Mustang color they had, but matched really well with the paint color. I would have done black had they not had the grey available.

I need more negative camber up front. If I take a fast turn sharp I understeer and the front wheels squeel like a girl.

so I went down a country road warming/wearing my tires F1 style. Seems like the steering response has increased a little bit... still seems a bit unstable though. I really want to like these tires. They're so quiet.
