I think that's pretty common
Look into a DashHawk for monitoring. I'm sure you have seen where mine is mounted and it provides you a lot of info. I'm not a fan of using the AP for monitoring because it's only 1 thing at a time. I have my DH set up for 4 items to monitor as well as a few thresholds for knock, BATs(Boosted Air Temps), RPMs/Shifting, etc....
That and you can do what I did and paint it black to match your interior... All ninja like.
I just found out all the couplers I have ordered from cxracing have been sent out in blue and not black! I put in an order for the couplers. When you check out there is no choice in color but I know they offer everything in black as well. SO I emailed them asking them to do black instead of blue since there is no option. I didnt get a response back. Now I see the package has been sent out and has the note of blue couplers. SOB! I guess my theme will now be white, black, red, and... blue.

yes but i still use their updated base map notes (like for instance a Stage 1 93 octane v106 map) as a foundation and then build a better stage 1,stage 2 etc etc map from there..some people get freaked out just looking at all the numbers and what they mean, i actually like making them, and im always learning more.. which is why i hope to have a dyno in the new shop someday.
well youll certainly have the most colorful engine bay out of all of us.. id call them personally and see if you can get another set sent out and then return the blue set once you get em..

Where'd you get your filter from? Is it a CX-7 one?
There was a mouse nest in my RX-8 cabin filter but not the MS6. I was surprised it wasn't in both.
judging by your signature, you drive the RX8 less (probably not at all in the winter) which would make it a more desirable/permanent home for the mouse

Yup you're right, it sits in the winter. I really thought I had a nest in the 6 though, judging by the smell of the air.
avj915 - You didn't have any fitment issues, did you?
left to right the fitment was good. The thickness is a bit thinner than the OEM it seems, and had me a bit concerned.
Yesterday I also pulled the blower fan off bc I thought I heard an acorn or something drop down. I put it all back together, did a quick check to about medium power and seemed ok. Today I cranked it up full, and heard something slip, then kinda a grinding noise. It would only sound like grinding under full power, so I checked again when I got to work. I pulled the filter out and ran it, and still made the noise so I am pretty sure its just loud, and not a loose filter.

Hell yay!! they saved my ass for brake pads recently.
And they are 100% confirmed for MAZFEST 2010!! they will have ride along cars on track as well as vendor booth. EVERYONE SHOULD MAKE THE DRIVE OVER TO CALI!!!

Dyamn good idea, did you just mask off the interior trim piece & screen then rattle can it? What color, and did you clear gloss it? I wants to do that nao!
