What have you done to your Mazda6 today?

what do you mean? it should unlock all doors and trunk with one push if its working properly... i had mine replaced shortly after i bought the car causeit didnt work at all, and my drivers door switch is starting to act up again

ctaylor (or anyone)...what guage pod is that? I know tunersteve was talking to cpe or someone about making a guage pod, did they come through? Or have I just been gone so long that I am recalling things incorrectly?

So I was off today. Tomorrow and the whole weekend. I just saw my local drag stip has test and tune up til 5pm tomorrow. Should I give it a shot??

Looks like I wont be able to make it out to the track. I'm helping my dad pick up his 65 vette here in a little while. He just got it painted. Maybe one day I'll race it down the track.

Steve was talking about a Dash Hawk mount for the same location. I bought a vent from the dealer and am going to make an attempt at building my own. I will let you know what happens.

thats one thing i <3 about living in a small place... every tuesday alll summer long from 6pm till the sun goes down past the trees its all you can run for $20

plan on doing a full detail on the car after dinner time. if i get done on time, meaning before dark ill post up some pics!!
drove it 1500 miles over the last week... running like a champ. I went 120 through one of the tunnels on the Pennsylvania Tpk. it was ludicrous. the car begs to go that fast! (but then I got pulled over the next day doing 82 in a 65.... fml)
anyways, Im starting to worry about my 1-2 shift... starting to feel grindy every couple 1-2 shifts... i can't see how a motor mount could help grindy

ok guys i have finally decided on some things for the build
my turbo will be a Turbonetics GTK-500!!!

my bov will be a Duo-35 BOV from Turbonetics

- both will be ordered next week
- devils own meth injection stage 2 w/ 2.5 gallon sump tank, and a assortment of nozzles is already ordered.
- DEI Cryo2 Intercooler spray kit is already ordered
- calling a few vendors next week
im still unsure of which piston/rods setup i want, also unsure of where to send out my head to get ported.
did i mention that turbo is massive!! if not ill mention it again

ohh and the teardown starts on Monday, i hope to have the motor pulled by that night, and it on the engine rotisserie tuesday.

the turbo is rated at 450-550 hp but thats just HP not WHP but if i hit 425 WHP id be pretty happy.
which would put me in a leaque of my own as far as speed 6's are concerned
im hoping for 25-32 psi
.. and im also hoping the head doesnt lift off the block on the dyno.

im thinking i might be ok with my current intercooler.
because if you look at thier universal intercoolers

the one at the very bottom 5-379 is basically the same size as mine that i have on now, mine is 2 inches wider then the one listed on thier site.. and with me putting on the DEI kit plus meth i shouldnt have an issue.. but if i do have one 5-379 will be ordered.
