Just got my new to me 2014 M5 Sport last week. Was replacing my 2009 M5 GT that was totaled when a reckless driver plowed into my passenger front side. =(
The previous owner of the 2014 M5 was not kind to it internally, back of 2nd row seat burned, small cigarette burn in 3rd row bench.
So far I've scrubbed down the front row to not feel grimy (the whole thing needs a thorough detail/steam cleaning, and found that the dirver side 2nd row seat seat pull tab is ripped off/missing, so I can't fold the seat.
I threw a pair of new Sumitomo all season tires onto 2 days ago, had them on my 2009 and they worked well through nasty weather. Changed the driver side windshield wiper with a high performance one by Windex.
Also, added a BTC480 to have bluetooth going. Why the sport model doesn't have built in BT baffles me, as my wife's 2011 CX-7 has it built in. Oh well, the $20 was easy to part with, now I can stream Spotify, which my 2009 BT couldn't.
I have a roof rack on the way, adding that next, then a full pro detailing job. After that, I'm considering replacing the 2 damaged 2nd row seats. Also need to bring in for a 75k checkup and have the mechanic give me a list of future repairs that should be addressed this year. Time to give this ride the TLC it deserves. =)
