I know that he was very opinionated and sometimes very harsh, but he did provided useful information to all of us.

Could he have done it more properly, perhaps. Nonetheless, I thought he was insightful and kind of entertaining in a evilish sarcastic way. Bottom line I thought he made the forum interesting.

I myself can admit to sharing views similar to him, and although I don't really know what happened last night after 5:00pm PST (probably in hookah's accident thread). I surely cannot think that he threatened anyone here with their life by perhaps being a bit harsh and direct with his opinion.

At any rate, whatever the mods decided to do with him is out of my control and it is surely to their discretion...but I do think people here need to lighten up a bit and stop wearing your tighty whities 3 sizes to small and take responses to questions asked for what they are...OPINIONS, whether you agree to them or not.

Peace!

The mods didnt do anything to him....

He decided to be EMO and started deleting all of his posts. Perhaps he has some growing up to do?

Wow if that's true it sucks. I'm a new member on here and he had a lot of information that was relevant/useful regarding the CX-9. I was on here just last night reading his threads.

Mods, how is it even possible for a member to go back and delete all there posts? That should be fixed, he had so many comments it basically makes reading threads useless/confusing unless someone directly quoted hims since those show up.

CX9 SportOwner,

If you are reading this, please don't let these other tight a$$ snobs get the best of you. They only bite back because you are blunt and direct with your comments. Like I said before, they need an extra mud treatment, loofa scrub, facial, manicure and pedicure. Your posts and information you share is crucial to some of us.

in adition....remove the sand from your vag

I have no horse in this race, since I only joined last week and have only had positive interactions with him, but given that he's the one that got butt hurt enough to delete all of his posts, calling the other users on this forum girly is a bit of a stretch, don't you think?

BOOO FRIGGETY HOO!!!!

Honestly what did you expect? You and otheres were going back and forth like children and it was unnecessary. At what point did I issue you an infraction? That right...I didnt and yet you went on a "Whoa is me!!" tirade and started deleting posts....seriously?

You want to b**** about the mods and our "powertrips"? How about that is our freaking job here on this site and thats what were were put in place to do.

Members such as yourself who feel they are more entitled to things than anyone else make laugh...

It's power tripping pussies like you issuing warnings and threatening to ban me for having an opinion that prompted me to delete my posts. You're a mod, not God.
They are my posts to delete, and since few appreciate the hours of research I've selflessly done just to provide useful information, I choose to do so.
It's ridiculous to be accused of needing to grow up by people who are only adults chronologically. It's sad when you have 40 year old 'men' putting giant woofers, loud exhausts, fog light overrides, and other safety bypasses in a 7 passenger family car, and I will always take issue with them, whether I'm here or not.

It's the internet, man. Don't take things so seriously. Keyboard-Commando'ing never got anyone anywhere.

Oh noes! I spelled something wrong on the internet! You got me lol

I'm not going to feed you anymore as its obviously useless trying to get a valid point across to you.

Enjoy your post deleting campaign!

CX9 Sport - please don't take this post the wrong way...I am simply providing an observation. There's nothing wrong with having an opinion. I just think in many cases when you write yours, you believe you are infallible and no one else's opinion matters, which causes people to take issue with you more than they normally would anyone else (maybe you really feel this way, I don't know). I certainly respect your opinion and feel like you bring value with some of the information you provide, but I have to bite my tongue many times when you decide that for the good of all man kind (yes, I'm definitely exaggerating and paraphrasing a bit here), navs should have lockouts because all people are morons, portable navs are always better than factory navs, Mazda can do no wrong and all other manufacturers suck, conversation mirrors are bad for all people, etc...that's the kind of impression you give, whether intentional or not, and it appears pompous at times. Some people can deal with it better than others, but when some one criticizes you, you should understand why and not become defensive over it. This is a small group, and it seems like it happens more with you than most others here, and maybe that should tell you something. Anyway, take it for what it's worth. This is a relatively small forum and we don't have many resources to pull from, so the more we all get along, the better off everyone will be!

Oh look, he's decided to take his ball and go home again. I can't believe he tried to stand on a high horse about his concern for safety after being taken to task for posting about street racing. That's some impressive hypocrisy.

CX9 SportOwner simply has very strong beliefs and opinions, some of which I share (i.e. ignorant people, and raising kids to name a couple) The fact is that Nuzy is correct we are a few here and anything that anyone can bring to the table to help out is welcomed. The main problem here is that CX9SO can be very harsh with his comments and perhaps come through as a total a$$hole to some...to me it's very entertaining...but it could be that I may share some views with him or he simply doesn't attack me, because if he did, then I would be all on a debate with him as well, but certainly wouldn't cry like a little b!tch. The flip side to the equation (in my opinion) is that being a CX9 forum, many owners have came from owning MBs, BMWs, Audis, etc. basically high line luxury brand cars and i think these individuals know who they are because they are the ones that make a big sh!t about a simple fart...so get over it, squash your "pedo" and move on. It's a public forum and there's going to be a$$holes as well as cry babies. The funny thing is that the poster that sparked up this whole crap (hookah) is the one with the least worry...so move on b!tches and act like adults!

...and I am not one at heart, but it doesn't bother me.

I am new to this forum but quite experienced on others. I am surprised at some of the language but more surprised by seeing a moderator jump into the pig swill and publicly berate a poster or for a poster to be allowed to publicly berate a moderator. I'll assume for the moment that the poster in question did something that deserved action by the moderator but I'm surprised that instead of taking action like suspending privileges for a time that the moderator just contributed to the impolite verbal pissing contest. Frankly both the moderator and perp should be sanctioned.

The trouble with tolerating impolite language on a forum is simply that everyone can do it and debates quickly turn to personal attacks. None of us would ever use such language debating in person unless we were drunk or willing to get our teeth knocked out. Why do it here? I'm no prude but maintaining a civil discourse is tough when volatile language peppers the posts. Moderators should control that especially when attacks turn personal. There is a big difference between using colorful language in posts and using abusive language. Moderators should be capable of seeing the distinction and certainly should observe it themselves.

Tough but fair moderation is the only way to control behavior on a public forum. I agree that moderators sometimes are overzealous (I was put on probation on other forum for describing a post as "inane" as though that was a severe insult) and can be biased but having a fair and neutral moderator is critical to the success of a forum. We need cops but they need to be good cops. Being a cop gives you the right to pull over someone who is disrupting the public peace but it doesn't give you the right to pummel the guy publicly. That, as evidenced in this case, does not restore the peace.

I Agree. I'm 46 and being the owner of a vehicle that costs $36k I expected more adult behavior.

If I was at the Mazda 3 forum I would expect to weed out alot of crapola but not here.

Everyone (members and mods) need to think before hitting the submit button. Now, we have lost alot of info from one member who seemed to know the CX9 inside and out.

He had a unique way to give his information - we all know that. Pull the info you need and move on instead escalating the war.

I was hoping to come here to learn more about the CX9 from those with more experience. Now, part of that is gone forever through deleted posts.

Pull back on the agression and make this place better for all.

Well I can tell you that it is better here than at the Altima forum I was a member of until last year. Definitely too young of a crowd for me and I'm 33. They way I see it though is there are always immature people no matter what their age. So don't expect more on a forum :).
