This is kinda disappointing, I wanna find out which set up would sound best for my non turbo 3 and somebody felt the need to shut down my last post. Dont really know why, but what eva. I'm gonna do a lil bit of work to my 3 just enuff to make about 30hp. The rest of what i wanna do is cosmetic for now.

Any suggestions???

Whats the link for??? I see that it takes me to a search for all exhaust topics but I dont believe I'll have time to read all 1000 threads and each post there within. Whats the forum for if i cant ask questions?

did you click on it?

It's a link to a search I did for you of all the threads already made on exhaust options and opinions for the mazda 3(n/a)

You can ask questions, we just tend to frown upon questions being asked that have already been asked a thousand times. Here I honestly tried to help you out and give a very easy direction to get the answers you were looking for and you complain about it. Nice

you cannot help those who cannot help themselves....

Or the more colorful version:

you can lead a horse to water, but you can't stop them from peeing in it....

dude the reason i ask, is cause not every set up is the same. I youtube this and all I got was a whole bunch of MS3's so that doesn't apply to me. And look this forum has been open for 8 years and unless its off topic or about a 2010, its all been said before at some other point. Do y'all do this to anyone who's asked a repeat question? My bad... but this is fairly discouraging. I like the vibrant, I've heard it, but once again only on a MS3, I've heard a COBB but also on an MS3. So when i dont see what I'm lookin for on the net I come back and ask you guys.

yes, it is fairly normal for someone asking a question that has already been WELL covered to be directed to search the previous posts.

my buddy has the HKS Hi-Power on his non-speed 3... it sounds pretty good. check the link that gofast gave you... PLENTY of good info there... but god forbid, yes, it will take you some reading to get through instead of having the info spoon fed directly to you.

Really, exhaust note preference is VERY subjective anyway... so who is to say you'll even agree with any of the opinions provided even if they WERE spoon fed to you? you'll likely not be able to find one person who has experience every header/cat/cat-back combination... and even if you did, your interpretation may not be the same as theirs when it comes to preference.

I guess my point: its on you to figure it out.

1. So you have time to youtube this stuff but you dont have time to read the threads in the link to the search that I already did for you?

2. yes, we are like this to everyone who asks a repeat question. Hell usually, people will just tell you to search. I was nice enough to do it for you.

3. If you look in my link you will find threads on regular mazda3s only.

I have the MS3 exhaust on my 3i basic sedan with one resonator cut out. sounds good to me..but I also have the manual transmission, so I will be able to have more fun with it than you might be able to

It'll also sound different, my exhaust got a whole lot deeper and more aggressive once I swapped over to manual.

this is due to no slip in the torque converter... you were actually making more torque after the swap than you did before. before the converter locks anyway.
