What do you use YOUR CX-7 for?

For work I use it to haul my video production equipment (camera, tripod, light kit, etc.).

On the weekends, it hauls my wife, our dog and - eventually - our bikes. Not necessarily in that order. The bikes will have to wait for a hitch mount to be installed. I've only had my CX-7 about 3 weeks... ;)

You actually don't need a hitch or roof mount for haul the bikes. You can use the same cheap (i.e. $30-40) trunk mounted ones that you can use on a sedan, you just need to readjust the straps to fit over the liftgate. Sorry if you knew this already, but I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I found out that I didn't need to shell out hundreds of dollars for the hitch installation / hitch bike rack and could just keep using the same old 'Hollywood Rack' that I had been using on my Civic. I loves me some biking!

Carry the shopping.

I went from an Audi A4 with 2 15" subs installed to this and I have more boot space then I know what to do with. I helped with a computer swap meet on the weekend and got 10 computer cases in the back :) Was kinda exciting :P

Hey, thanks for the reply. I actually did know that but I already have the hitch-mounted rack and prefer to load my bikes that way. So, guess I'll just be out a few hundred - but it'll be worth it the end. ;) And - like you - I loves me some biking too!
