What do you guys think?

Hi all,

I don't have much knowledge about this mobile audio stuff but I have recently purchased a set of Rockford Fosgate FNX2614 6-1/2" components for the front and Rockford Fosgate FRC3205 5 1/4"s for the rear in my Pro5. I plan to run them off a Sony CDX-MP70 HU. When I have enough money I'll buy a 4-channel amp. Probably stick with Rockford. Anyways, I just wanted to know if this will be a huge improvement over the stock system or can my money utilised better with another setup. Thanks!

If they are just coaxles then return them and get the right sizes as both of those will require adapters and if they are just supposed to be drop ins its not really worth it.
On an up note Sir Nuke loves his Rockford speakers.

What did you pay for them and from where did you buy them?

The fronts are Rockford's top of the line FanaticX 6 1/2' components, and the rears are thier entry level Punch 5 1/4" I got them for cheap cuz my cousin works for Perfomance Auto and Sound Magazine down here in Canada. Probably 2% or 3% above cost.

Just wanted to make sure you know there not drop ins but it sounds like you cousin should be able to hook you up with the adapters for the rears and fronts.
