what do I do with all these solinoids

I am upgrading my sons intake manifold, getting rid of tha stock manifold, and I have more Vac. hoses and switches and solinoids then I have nipples for. I am assuming that the VTCS/VICS is no longer required since the diaphrams are no longer needed but what do I do with the plugs? and where do I mount the solinoid off the fuel rail, and do I shorten the hose. So many things to think about. I know someone smarter than me has the answers. Thanks

none of the solonoids on the intake manifold are required (vtcs, vics, fuel pressure, evap purge) but with the stock ecu it throws a code when not plugged in. When I did this I just mounted the solonoids on the firewall and plugged them in not connecting any of the vacuum lines. You wont get a code as long as they are electronically plugged in.

Just make sure you reconnect vacuum to the boost and map sensors in the top left of the engine bay.

Also most people just elimintate the vacuum to vtcs and vics and leave the other ones but I didn't notice any difference with the other ones gone either, evap purge is for emisions and the fuel pressure solonoid is to change the pressure to help car warm up by running a bit lean to cause more heat.

Thanks, I got the intake in before I got back to the forum, and I did get codes. I am going back today and plug in the vtcs/vics. Thanks again you've been a great help
