I'm late to the party but congrats on the deal! The power of shopping comes from asking a LOT of people and getting a LOT of Nos, but it only takes one Yes to make a great deal!Maybe if I’m feeling petty. One guy in particular was kind of a dick lol So now I have a problem. My son and his fiancé live in Philly, we always drove the old cx5, not my G87. Now I’m looking at the new perfect Mazda and I’m not feeling street parking it. It’s so freaking nice. Tonight we’ll have to brave it, big party.
Can you confirm was that $30,400 OTD or +TT&L?Victory! Bought a 25 white Carbon S today msrp $35,200 for $30,400.
Not out the door. Add taxes tags and a dealer fee ($599 or so)Can you confirm was that $30,400 OTD or +TT&L?
Thanks. I'm getting ready to make an offer of my own and that helps. Not out the door. Add taxes tags and a dealer fee ($599 or so)
I’d love to send you to MD just off 95. Heritage Mazda, I’ll introduce you to the team.Thanks. I'm getting ready to make an offer of my own and that helps.
FWIW, I'm considering making on a 2025 Premium Plus. MSRP is 38010. Asking for a 8.5% dealer discount, making the vehicle price 34779.15. Assuming 2500 factory incentives that's down to 32279.15, add 7% tax so that's 34538.69. Planning to offer 34500 OTD.
Initially was going to make an offer at a 10% discount (vehicle price 34209, 34k OTD) but I'd rather have them say yes than invite a haggling process. 34.5k I think they can say yes to. I am in a high COL area (Philly suburbs) and am willing to travel for the right price if I have to, but life is hectic atm and would rather make an offer they can accept.
This will be my first new car purchase, lot's of uncertainty getting to here but I think I'm on the right track. Any thoughts and/or advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Thanks, I do appreciate that, but let me see how the offer to my local dealership goes and then I may take you up on that...I’d love to send you to MD just off 95. Heritage Mazda, I’ll introduce you to the team.

Idunno if it's only leases or also for purchasing as well. How It Works
Seems like they are a "buyers agent". For a fee (which they are doing $300 off with code), they do the leg work of securing a purchase agreement for a car that you want at a price you may not be able to get (or get without a lot of work) through their relationships with dealers.
Let's say the buyer agent fee is hypothetically $500 and they can arrange a 10% off car price saving me $3500 (a $3000 net savings) where maybe the best I could do through LOTS of time and haggling and emailing and calls and struggles is 8% saving me $2800 instead. So even with the "fee" of a buyer agent, they could save you money with their connections and buying power.
Even if it doesn't save money over what you could eventually work out for yourself, sometimes your time is more valuable to you or you just hate negotiating with a car salesman and it's worth it to just get a good number without all the leg work. I don't mind negotiating but I hate painting, I'll gladly pay someone to paint for me. Do you have a line on any good deals for a house painter @Ninja_Matt haha ?
