What car brands are totally off your shopping list?

Not talking about affordability.

That would leave out many brands and models. I'd also include any turbos off my list. That leaves Mazda CX-5 on top of my list!

All GM products. I owned a bunch of them way back but they still owe the government a lot of money. Roughly 21,000 salaried employees lost up to 70% of their pensions. I don't trust what is left of the company. When I chose the CX-5 I never even looked up info on GM vehicles on line.
I like Mazda and Mitsubishi In the past I have owned and liked Peugeot and Saab

Nissan and Toyota. Never liked Nissan's styling and reliability. Can't stand Toyota's new design language and general feeling of numbness while driving any of their cars. I like how Hondas drive in comparison but they're fugly too. I wanted a CUV and picking CX-5 was very easy. Don't regret a bit.

GM, Ford, Chrysler, Mitz, Subaru, Mini....pretty much anything not made in Germany. As for my wife, I think she's a Mazda person for life.

OP. You may want to revise this list as many of the brands you are listing don't exist, unless your point was including used cars as well? Example, voting for brands like Hummer, Eagle, Pontiac, Oldsmobile, etc. that don't exist mean nothing to the poll results and I doubt anyone voting is going out of their way to buy used ones!

I just grabbed this list from Edmunds.com and did intend to include used cars as well..
