Since in the modders guide it doesnt list blowoff valves, i was just wondering what you guys are running?
stock replacements?...fit in its place?
for hard pipes?
brands?

Just wanted to see what you guys liked or sounded good...

i've run greddy type s and hks ssqv

hks hands down for me, works at every boost level, no need to adjust it like greddy's, and I think the sound is pretty sexy too.

HKS SSQV v2 black edition venting to air. MAM FMIC kit. BOV on hot pipe MAF relocated to cold pipe.
IMHO best set-up available

HKS all the way. I had it on my P5-T and I loved it, but now I'm using the GReddy Type S on my MP3-T and it's ok. HKS was much better. As previously mentioned, it works at all boost levels without needing to be adjusted and is just simply the best BOV on the market hands down.

And yes definitely recirculate it or get a BPV.

hks hands down until the cops told me to put them up now i run stocker recirc.

BOV on hot pipe, really? Have a pic? I was going to do a dual BPV/BOV setup but mount my BOV infront of my MAF on my cold pipe. What is the advantage of having it on the hot pipe?

I run it on the hot pipe for 3 reasons.
1. why vent good already cooled air.
2. by keeping it on the hot pipe and relocating the MAF to the cold. I don't have to worry about
the turbulance from the BOV messing up my MAF.
3. It leaves my engine bay looking neater.
I'm curious how the hot air looks being vented in the middle of the winter??

I don't think I even have enough space to mount a BOV on the hot pipe, even though that is a good idea and only makes sense to do. I'll have to keeo this in mind.

I use a TruboXS RFL, awesome sound it makes! It's not a squeak like the HKS, it's more a manly sound. Lol

i have a HKS mounted on the hot pipe too, its sick
its a V1 though so it still has the adjustment screw but i still love the way it sounds
