Man, I know how you feel. Right now I have a 95 Grand Am GT(saving for MS3) and my car gets water in it when it rains out. And it is really pissing me off. I dont know where it is coming from

In my ms3, I have the same problem. Its a design flaw. I have had it in for warranty work and theyve stripped out the passenger side twice... blown out the drain and it still forms and drips condensation when the air is on high and its not in recirc. In recirc, it doesnt drip.

The service department is at a loss. They "officially" told me the solution is to keep the air in recirc. And in so many words they told me to "deal with it". Because they have been cool about everything else, I told them Id live with it, until a greater problem arises or the carpet starts stinking or something. If that happens they told me to bring it immediately in and theyd replace everything then.

This is like the fourth time Ive seen posts addressing this problem.... I dont think every car has this problem, but enough do that its more than just a single anomaly. It is NOT a clogged hose. I personally watched them blow out the hoses and the problem was not fixed.

Man there is no way I would "deal" with that! I would either make them fix it once and for all or buy the car back from you.

I struggled with my reaction as well... however, after the second episode and driving around a friggin nasty 626 for a couple days and then finally having the chance to have my "broken, drippy" 3 back, I think I just relented out of laziness. Its not like it drips so much that my floorboards having standing water, but just the side below the dash and the carpet next to the floormat.

Youre right it is ridiculous that they cant fix it, but I really do think it has something to do with simple condensation up behind the plastic without a drain.

Maybe theyll let me cut in Xede under warranty if I live with the drip!! Then it would be worth it.
