talledega2.webpI went to a track day at Little Talledega for the SpeedForSale.com shootout which featured the new GT-R, Supras, Z's, and RX-7's. It rained most of the day, which prevented full out attaching the track, but I learned alot and held my own with the big boys. Those GT-R's are stupid fast, and I did get passed by an instructor in a Tundra, but it felt good to safely open the MS3 up and see what it could do. I need to correct the understeer alittle if I want to improve, but I passed quite a few cars and did well for my first time racing anything. I hope the pictures show up because hooked on phonics left me computer i-lit-er-ate. In the time attack, two noobs in GT-Rs beat full out track cars with instructors driving by more than 5 seconds! Now I need money to mod and return with a vengence!

Looks like fun. Do they have track days often and how do i find out when i could go? I dont live to far from there.

TPGRace.com is their website. I think its pretty expensive so you need a large group to make it affordable. It cost me $125 and they had 50 cars booked. SpeedForSale.com sponsered the event and I got in thru a friend of a friend. I don't know if they have an "open" day that you can just show up and run. You need a Snell approved helmet, and they have race fuel there(noone used it).
