western new york/pa

Ive kept my eyes open, but ive only seen one in syracuse, where i bought the car, and one in rochester. and mines the only silver one.
AND everyone here thinks its a LANCER.
ugh.

i see a bunch of protege's around but they are mostly people who just own it...not LOVE it...like i do :) i have not seen one protege that has a mod on it yet...not even aftermarket rims...

you know what i HATE?... someone who drives by in a lowered civic with a stupid wing, altezza tailights, and a coffee can muffler and doesnt even LOOK at my car. DONT YOU KNOW WHAT THIS IS? DONT YOU KNOW HOW MUCH COOLER IT IS THAN YOURS?
anyway... no mods on mine yet. last car I put them on one at a time... this time Im just going to do most of it in one shot. Mostly carbon fiber stuff, new exhaust, powder coat the rims and mess with the turbo. OH and of course my billet aluminum star shaped rear view mirror cuz otherwise my license plate would make no sense! and cuz im a dork./ (2thumbs)

So here I am thinkin.... why does every area have a club but us? why do they get to do all the meets? I wanna do something fun TOO!

i think its a great idea to have a club or just get togathers...i just didn't realize there were this many people on the board from this area...

I'm currently in Rochester New York, when school starts I'll be in buffalo.

Oh yeah, I saw a really nice Protege5 at the Rochester Rhinos game Saturday night. Yellow, and a really nice tint. Anyone claim ownership?

All of you are welcome to join MTMA (Mazda Team Mid-Atlantic). We cover the states of NY, NJ, PA, and DE.

I'll be honest, most of our current members are close to either NYC or Philly....but you of course are welcome to come to any of our meets. And if you join, there would be no problem organizing meets in your area, as long as they are open to all MTMA members. I think it would be easy for you guys to fulfill the membership requirements (attend 3 official MTMA events per calendar year), as the club would help you in any way we can to organize official local meets for you. Plus, if you want to host a large event, I know plenty of people would make the drive to it, no matter the distance.

www.mazdateam.org is our website, and www.mazdateam.org/forum is our forum.

Let me know if you have any questions.

~Justin

i would consider joining something like that, but i dont have the time to do alot of driving, so i prolly wouldnt make it to enough meetings, especially if they're in the NYC area.
