I was at the track last night too, my best 60 was 2.241, and 2.394, my first time there also, but my 1/4 was 16.8...lol I'll be going back when I do a few more mods.

thats because you are not turbo, your trap speed must be around 84MPH in the 1/4.

And....anyway, its a good time for a P5, My best was 16.7 with 2.4 when N/A, and 14.9 turbo @ 7psi

Practice. There's no 'right' way to launch. But a lot of people have had success feathering the clutch with partial throttle through most of 1st gear.

That run looks like it was a stock, non flashed MSP, your trap speed is very low.

I am stock - and it was post flash. My only excuse is that it was my first time out. I slowed down before the stupid time posts because I am an idiot.
