I just had a thought the other day and wonder if its possible. Well, it would be possible, but whether or not its a good idea. I had the idea while looking at the picture below. I was just looking at the stance of the car and thought it would be cool to have the back higher than it is now. I was thinking maybe trying to get a hold of the rear springs from the prokit and keeping the sportlines on the front. Thoughts? input?

I see what you are saying, but it isnt like it would be drastic, just about .5 inches higher than it is now to give it a different stance. The back will still be about 1.3 inches lower than stock I think

I like the way your car sits now tphskab

I do wish mine sat a little lower in the back, but it is an even 2" drop (the protege has more of a raked shape)

i know i was just joking..besides its better to have all the weight up front rite.. better traction?>???

i think the way your car sits now looks better than it would if the back were raised.

i Was Thinking Of Putting An Oxygen Tank Line To My Intake Mani

How's That For A Weird Idea?

I definetly think you would compromise the handling of your car. The kits are designed to work the way they came.

It'd look like a stinkbug.

Maybe a cat in heat.

It's a nifty idea but I don't think it would look nice. Seems like it would but I don't think it would.

I've noticed that w/ some lowering springs, sometimes the rear sits lower than the front....one of the reasons I opted for coilovers. Here's my profile shot w/ a measured 2" drop up front and a 1.75" drop in the rear (Tein Basics). Almost a perfectly level drop, it's adjusted w/ just the slightest amount of rake.

I'm not sure, but I think this is what tphskab is referring to.

I thought he was talking about even a little more rake than that, though
