weapon r hard pipe kit trouble

i put my weapon r hard piping on today and went for a test drive. when i got it into boost the couplers kept blowing off so i tightned every single on down again and i havent taken it out again because it is raining but has anyone used them or know someone that has and what did you do to fix it?

just keep tightening down til they don't blow off. Buy t clamps for better clamping, ro just stay out of boost. I have blown mine off a couple times, always right after working on the car and either the couplers were on crooked or I didn't tighten the clamps enough. Easy fix Josh.

Apply a bit of hairspray (if you have any) to the end of the trouble spot pipes and reattach the coupling and clamp. Yes, it sounds silly, but the hairspray, once cured, will act as an adhesive (and allow easy installation of the coupling while it's still wet). Furthermore, if you're using a traditional hose clamp, tighten it with a ratchet and socket as opposed to just a screwdriver.

yeah i just got back from a test run and i blew 2 off but they were the ones with these cheap little reducers that are just the same coupling material just smaller stuck inside of it so i took those out and tightened the hell out of them i have one left to do the one that connects to the turbo but its still hot so i am waiting. i guess we will see what happenes when i get done with it.

thanks guys for the insight and help. hopefully i can make it up there to hang out one thursday. or just let me know when another auto x event is and i will come to that.
