Weapon*R Engine Damper Test Fit.

make an intake manifold for the MSP. Not a single vendor has made one and people would buy them.

yes if you make one I will buy it right now :)

"If anyone has ideas on parts that are not made yet.
Let me know i maybe intrested in fabricating them up, if there is a market for them."

We can always use additional parts for MSP performance. Those are some nice parts you posted. An exhaust manifold, intake manifold, along with those dampers would be a sure hit. Can't wait to see what you end up fabricating.

is this thread for a manifold or an engine damper?...

will this only fit the ms proteges? or any of the 2.0 motors?

I emailed him and pm'ed him on this forum and MOCC. Im pretty much free all week, and im not to far from them. If he lets me do the test and will take pictures and show everyone. Maybe i can get a good deal too!

I'm interested in both the intake and the exhuast, along with the pipes. I love way welds turn out with titanium

Subscribing for updates.

an intake manifold is a great idea. If weapon r does make one, it'll be the only company that has it out. Although I'm not sure, I think an aftermarket intake manifold for the msp may be compatible with the protege and the protege 5 (can someone chime in).

I got an email back from WR, the damper kit wont be in for another 3 weeks. I should still be free around that time, if he gives me a call i'll do the test fit. Now we wait.

If anyone has a Stock intake manifold i can get started on one.
I will need to get a stock one to get the flanged for the Cylinder head and the TB CNC'ed out so we can start getting BUZY on this project.

Im just letting everyone know that Sheet Metal Intake Manifolds go for about $750, but if i can get about 20 people to GB on this i can def make them for $700.

My EVO8 Intake manifold made 65% more flow than the OEM and will be dyno'ed next week. It should make well over 45HP at the wheels.

Simular manifolds with a smaller plenum made 45hp for the EVO8.

For a Race Exhaust Manifold it would be about the same in Stainless.
Double that price for titanium.

I will be watching this thread!!! I want good cheap parts and I'm getting the feeling we may have some here!!!!

Hasn't it been discussed that we get a significant amount of our power from the intake monifold design? You guys have fun spending $700 for -5 hp, I'll stick with stock, lol.

i really dont think protege 5's will get much power from these intake manifolds.
Like i said TURBO models will gain more from this mod than NA vehicles.

700 bucks for an intake mani and I am in
