I am curious to what products are being used for waxing and care on your vehicles. I park my vehicle outside 24/7 and have been using Mothers Carnauba Cleaner Wax....curious to see what any other recommendations are.

I use meguiars 21 synthetic sealant, and pinnacle signature series II as a topper.

i highly recommend a true synthetic sealant for long periods of protection. cleaner wax is ok, but isnt the best in terms of protection.

a sythetic sealant will last longer than most traditional OTC carnubas.

When I am in a rush and trying to get a quick shine I will use either Turtle Wax Ice or the spray Eagle One Nanowax. Before you hate, the nano does a fantastic job for something you quickly spray and wipe.

Normally I use Meguiars gold class paste wax. Anyone know how it differs from the Meguiars NXT? Does it look different? I've always wondered...

gold class is a carnuba based wax.

nxt is synthetic.

the carnuba will give a deeper reflection and deeper wetness, while i feel that nxt makes flakes pop nicely, and leaves a glossy finish.

i either go with the ICE or meguiars 3 step. it depends on my mood. i personally like the results of the meguiars more, but the ice is quicker and lasts a bit longer.

If you want something cheap and easy to get that works well go with the Meg's NXT 2.0 for a synthetic or S100 carnauba paste wax (at your local Harley Davidson). Go here to learn of other options.

I have used the S100 before. Looks great, easy to put on and remove too.
