I've always liked using Armor All, and i've also found that wheel magic will get it off too. Just try to keep wheel magic off the paint. Armor All is the better bet though.

i've tried back to black, but all it does is just hide it. when i wash the car, there's the wax again. will armor all do the same?

Hot peanut butter. No s***, it works.

Warm up some peanut butter in the microwave, apply it to the trim, let it cool, wipe it off.

hot peanut butter....so like do you just scrub it in? or like how exactly does that work? i have this same problem. ill try hot water first

Blah I got that same crap, though not as bad. The dang dealer waxed the car before delivering it even though I said not to, knowing how crappy they do it. Gah, the dang car just arrived on the truck it didnt need to be cleaned.

I just used hot water, scrubing but it took awhile. Hmm peanut butter huh...its just crazy enough to work lol.

i just took a bottle of wax cleaner/ remover and used a tooth brush and it took it right off and never came back untill i waxedher again and hit it again lol

ive tired black magic or like "tire wet" and it just seems to cover it up. ill try some dish washing soap with my brothers toothbrush (i heard dishwashing soap is a good wax remover?)

any kind of dishwashing soap contains degreaser, degreaser is known for removing wax easily. And that it does. I used to use it all the time on my ranger, it was called yeagers, i think, strong s***, im surprised it didnt remove the paint. It would melt tar and bugs right off, no scrubbing, but i would try the dishwashing soap and hot water, just keep it off the paint by using a toothbrush or something.

A paintbrush works pretty well, and it wont leave any grease or chemicals. Just tap/poke the dry wax with the ends of the bristles of the brush, then wipe it away. The wax has got to be dry for this to work.

spread the hot peanut butter around, then get 2 pieces of bread and use them to wipe it off. after you have all of the pb on the bread, fold the bread in half and eat it. you will have successfully cleaned excess wax off your car and ate lunch.................

Meguiar's makes a product under their Mirror Glaze line that is called"Heavy Duty Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner" it will remove any wax on plastic, rubber, or vinyl in one pass! If you use the Meguiars #26 Hi-Tech wax you will not encounter the same problem in the future. It does not dry white and will not stain trim or molding. Good Luck!
